Hello Lolliedieb.

Is there an option to lower the GPU load?
When using minor on the main PC, I want to run a miner while doing other work.

Not yet, but will put this to the list of requested features.

The --exit-on-zero option doesn't seem to be working, I just had my rig run for about half hour at 0 before I caught it...

I will try it if its working here. Did you disable long stats? Because when that print out is disabled its not workkng.

No, the only things I changed in the stock cfg file were:
1. set user to my address.rig
2. set-work-batch to AUTO
3. set-short-stats-interval to 15 <-- think this is the only odd thing I did but it shouldn't matter
4. took the comment off exit-on-zero flag

Then ran it, it has happened to me on 2 different 4x 1080ti rigs and a 6x 1080 rig, all have ran fine for months doing other mining.
When they do run for a while (I think my longest run is 14 hours so far) they eventually crash with the "close program" dialog box that comes up so the miner won't even restart until you go click the close program button.

why doesn't the earth in the main web page revolve around any more? (not saying it should, but would be nice to see it moving.. haha) no.And  why is the minexsystems registered in hong kong? any specific reason for that?

Is this calculation correct - for monthly to be less profitable than annual?   -  70 / 365 * 30 = 5.753      Therefore at current annual rate, monthly is more profitable than annual above 5.753%

Just a few questions:
Are those card hashrates on the front page on Windows or Linux?
And are they stock speeds or overclocked?

I can report 980 TI 18k sol/s, Windows 10, stock speed .

Well that could be water cooled then or in fact a 1080TI - usually Windows and Linux should not make a difference. But it is questionable if such OC is worth because the consumption is high then too. I usually recommend running lolMiner at 75 to 85 % power target.

The connection delay is 5 seconds and it tries to reconnect  5 times per default ... so after half a minute it should switch.
I also saw many miners switch, but for some it did not work. What I also saw is that the 0.30 to 0.32 versions have problems when the primary pool is not available when the miner starts - then they may just crash. That was resolved in 0.33. But I will double check if there are general problems with this feature that needs fix in next version.



By the way:
Please look at your rigs if these are correctly configured.
I see one rig with about 100k sol mining to my account with the 0.31 example configuration - not that I have something against donations, but I think this is not intended

Try to set these options in bat file: --set-work-batch 2G --optim STD
If not help try to set 6 cards to run in one cmd miner and 7 in other, so command should be like this: --device 0,1,2,3,4,5 in first bat, and --device 6,7,8,9,10,11,12 (not sure will miner have options to reconize command for --device like is number of card with two decimals..)

I locate my miner in to your pool but after 24hrs of straight mining, I haven't seen any coin to my account, 24hrs of nothing... I going back to suprnova..

I dont see the miner switching back to the primary pool on one of the rigs. How can I see whether it is trying or not? Is it possible to see a message in the log when a job is received and eta to the next primary pool try?

I suspect there is a big problem above v0.22, probably v0.31..v0.33

1° I use 0.31 and didn't get any block or reward, the pool didn't get any block for 3 days:

That pool is currently reporting 672.72 k sols.  The network is currently 198594.56 ksols. 

That is 0.3% of the network hash.  On average the pool should find less than two blocks a day, but with numbers that small not getting any for a few days is still within range for normal.  The page itself lists the current luck at 0.661. 

Is it possible that the pool recently lost some mining power to explain why the returns have gone down?

I suspect there is a big problem above v0.22, probably v0.31..v0.33

You miss one point: the nethash displayed by the pools is taken from the deamon connected to the pool (since every pool runs a full minex node so it can add blocks). This deamon calculates the nethash from the average time it took to mine the last blocks and the current network difficulty. So if this calculation says 200Msols it is likely that the true speed is between 180 and 220M.

From the numbers I see in my fee connectors the 0.3x versions together do about 150Msols and all 0.2x versions about 30M... so it is almost impossible that all 0.3x versions only send wrong shares that can not build a block. Especially I have seen blocks build by my fee connectors (approx 3 to 4 a day) so this versions do propper calculations.

Finally when pool sends a message that share is accepted and the pool is displaying sol/s I would expect the pool had checked the share it gets. If you claim this happens on your pool but the pool is not able to build a block from accepted shares something might be horribly wrong with the pool.

Overall I think you just had bad luck (with 0.3x) and good one with 0.22. At those rates the volatility is very high.

@Global diff: the recent down in prize and high diff made the profitability sink below level of other coins so miners left. The numbers I see here fit, so the sol/s arriving fit to nethash calculated from block time and my market share. I think all is ok here.
