Everyone likes on one hand to have the guarantees of a correct functioning, and at the same time to maintain anonymity. Unfortunately, this is not possible. The regulation of the market can only go through the identification of the players.

I think that those companies asking for personnal information just to give few buks or pennies should be avoided. Why will i disclose my real ID to a random team of unknown/Fake guys ? At least if a well known company launches an ico and Ask for KYC in a bounty program, i Can participante depending on the estimated worth of the airdrop per participant. Otherwise, i stay away.

even I do not like at all the procedure kyc nor for the airdrop nor for the bounty I do not like it in general, in my opinion goes against the principles for which they were created cryptocurency such as anonymity

I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents. Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.
Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.
It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.
If as a community we do not say no to this, then it would become the norm.
I fully agree with you. I don't believe that to introduce KYC for participants in the bounty of the companies norm. I believe that this is only for investors, and the participants of the bounty companies are not. The coins that receive the bounty is the reward for their work, and nothing else.

Yeahh the KYC ish is getting much nowadays to claim bounty and even cheap airdrop tokens. It seems many projects are just trying to avoid having legal issues with SEC or any other govt bodies. I will show things could change back to how it used to be last year

Of course the very concept of crypto currency is contrary to the KYC procedure. What kind of anonymity can there be, if a person should provide a whole bunch of documents about his identity and address of residence.. But most likely companies require KYC, which prevent the distribution of coins to fake accounts. It is very easy for one person to create a lot of addresses of mail, purses and virtual mobile numbers (if necessary). And the organizers are trying to distribute the airdrop as many different people as possible.

If it's a bounty or investments in ICO, then it would be reasonable if you need KYC. of course, this also viewed from the payment received is also great. but based on the experience of the airdrop with results that are not too large but need KYC. then I think that it is not enough with mercenary provided in airdrop.

It's unpleasant, of course, but in most cases the person glows and shakes himself. Plus, leaks from the organizers of the ICO are also doing things. And people talk a lot of language or like to brag about their money. Be careful and pretend you go to work or doing freelance

I agree with you. if the airdrop project asks for verify KYC should ignore and leave. I guess it's not necessary, if for ico investment I might get it and make sense. but not with airdrop that only distributes tokens for free.

Seriously i am also highly against that idea of bounty hunters going through a KYC,for goodness sake that should be mentioned at the beginning of the bounty campaign and people who dont mind will join but to wait till the end and ask for KYC documents is just below the belt

This is terrible news. KYC is a bad influence for investment and for rewards for the bounty program. Now it is included even for airdrops. What's next? Will you force to pass it when you need to turn on the computer?

I always avoid KYC for Airdrops. The potential benefit is just not worth doing the effort and giving away your personal details

I think if airdrop asks KYC it is a very unreasonable thing, because airdrop is just a free coin that has a value of only $ 30 .. since a few months ago a lot of airdrop scam and now they ask for our identity ... I strongly disagree about this

Complete agreement. I don't like KYC. one of the reasons I became interested in cryptocurrency is anonymity.

Your observations is correct and timely, naturally KYC is meant for investors and not for bounty hunters, investors KYC is needed because of the funds they are investing especially if the money is above $1000 any amount less should not attract KYC.

If our data is provided to a person we don't know, it can also be used as a crime to avoid cheating on bonuses, so if the airdrop project wants to avoid fraud, the reward must be done in another way.

Why would you even want to do KYC for an airdrop? Unfortunately now sometimes they require KYC for bounties after the campaign is done so you are kinda obligated to do it otherwise your work would be for nothing, i hate that very much.
