Well every time I try I get "Trading is currently frozen on this security." in big red letters.

You have to set a withdrawal address. Click on the "set a withdrawal address" when it gives you an error. And then link an alternative bitcoin address of yours(ie, blockchain.info account address etc)

Okay, I have never transferred shares on BTC-TC.  Where do I find this option?

EDIT: Found it.

Was I helpful or insightful?  Feel free to say thanks! 1PuoasR1dYtNq9yYNJj9NreDAfLEzc3Vpe

On your My Assets page/tab of your Portfolio. Take a look at the bottom I think (I don't have any shares anymore so I can't quite tell the exacts) and there should be a drop down asking you to select an asset and then it asks for a few more things, including the name of the account you are sending too (CaSe Sensitive).

Well every time I try I get "Trading is currently frozen on this security." in big red letters.

You Sir Matt are a gentleman and a scholar.

I attempted to transfer my shares. We'll see how this goes.

Thanks for being on top of the exchange issue Ken, it makes me feel more confident!

How's the PR situation going? Are you going to be attending BTC conferences like I had suggested? I know our competitors will be there. Please respond to this.

Yes, I would like to.  Don't know if I will have time.

Only one transfer per email please.
Do not send multiple emails for the same transfer.

Date:
Timestamp Of Transfer on BTC-TC:
BTC-TC Exchange User Name:
Number Of Shares:

Bitfunder User Name:

Move BTCT.Co To Bitfunder shares:

BTC-TC INSTRUCTIONS START

1).  Transfer your ActiveMining shares by transferring the shares on BTC-TC to AMCTENDER1.

2).  Then email the above information to transfer@activeminingcorp.com right after you make the transfer above.

Your ActiveMining shares will then verified in the AMCTENDER1 account, after being verified the same number of shares will be
transferred to your Bitfunder account.

BTC-TC INSTRUCTIONS END

The cutoff time for dividends to be paid to shares transfers is 18:00 UTC on Wednesday of each week
If you expect dividends to be paid do not transfer your shares after this time until the dividends are
paid for that week.  After the dividends are paid for the week you can then transfer your shares again.

Transfered shares will be processed FIFO as fast as possible.

Transfers will only be accepted for 1 week through September 30, 2013.

Warning:  Anyone, trying to commit fraud will have their transfer denied and shares confiscated.

Thanks for doing this Ken, no doubt it's a bunch of extra work you wish you weren't doing. Godspeed to my shares!

You got that right!  I was hoping that the Tender offer was the last time I was going to do this.  At least it is half as many shares only 3M.

I think you have got more PR this last week, than when we had a PR guy.

When it comes to the transferring of shares, yes..  but when it comes to your actual progression with your fast hash machines and building of the boards, no..

I have one question about the transfer of shares,
It pretains to this;
Timestamp Of Transfer on BTC-TC:

how exactly do i create a timestamp of transfer? screenshot? will it be provided after I transfer?

apologies for what may seem a stupid question, but when I look at the asset transfer area on BTCTC it has explicit warning "Warning! Please be careful and double-check all input fields before submitting your transfer. All transfers are permanent!" so I would rather ask a noob question than lose my assets.

the rest of the instructions are very simple to understand, please clarify "timestamp" and tell me how.

look under your HISTORY tab and you'll find it in the transaction column.

NOTE: you'll get a timestamp after you've made the transfer and it will be in this format: 2013-09-23 18:20:06

I agree. It reminds me of the good old days when you were actually on the forums. Btw, I am really happy that you got a new forum; it was getting out of hand.

I'm just talking about the PR firm you were planning on hiring. Is this still happening? I don't care too much either way, I'm just wondering based on what you've said.

And about the BTC conferences, hope you or someone can make it. In addition to creating a market presence, I think it would help you to see what else is out there.

Those are the steps you follow to move your Btct shares to Bitfunder, as Btct is shutting down
