PM I just received:

Sorry that you are leaving, I wish I could too, but I have a lot of responsibility to all the shareholder that are staying.

"When the going gets tough, the tough get going"

So, that is what I am doing.

"I wish I could too?" wtf does that mean?

My rant a few posts back I say I am going to leave due to lack of communication.

This is what he then "communicates" to me via PM.

I've never PM'd the guy.

Yes, I bet he wishes he could leave with the $1,000,000 chip design that WE paid for.  Fantasies of revenge constantly fill my head when it comes to Ken Slaughter

This is the most disconcerning thing yet. Ken, why would you say that? We are all operating on blind faith that things are on track. For you to be anything but confident seems to mean that things are not on track. Please explain this immediately. It is imparitive that you explain this, and to stop avoiding the questions about the progress. A general statement such as we are on track is not something covered under the NDA. After this, we need to know. You have to stop dodging this.

I would say the remaining non-troll people here are generally pretty respectful. Asking for basic and general updates to our progress shouldn't be that much of a headache nor something unreasonable. Nor something so bad that makes him wish he could get out of the company. I hope he is talking about the complications with having to go to colored coins / and the temporary exchange and that when the going gets tough does not refer to our chip development.

Ken seems to get a kick out of being extremely vague.  As far as we know, he could have been talking about his dog.

Share issuers really have no reason to want to give good news to boost the price, especially when they are actively investing. Kinda evil but whatever.

Inside trading is illegal and dirty. Ken has already had his hand slapped when he openly admitted, "DUHHH HEY GUYZ, I BUY SHAREZ TOO".  Remember that?

This seems like the most likely reason to me. I think he would rather surprise us with good news than give us deadlines that he can't guarantee.

Unfortunately we don't have the luxury of time that most ventures have. Clock is ticking and everyday that goes by means another exponential inch of increase in difficulty. If we're not mining soon, like in the next three weeks (fat chance) then really what exactly are we doing? Starting a new illegal stock exchange?

I agree that is probably the root of his silence. However, he already gave us a projected timeline. If we are not on track with this we will soon know anyway. Saying he wishes he could get out but has responsibility to the shareholders still in is not a reassuring thing to say. Saying "I'm sorry you are leaving, very good things are in store for coming months but if you don't want to wait I understand" is a much better statement from a company who is supposedly about to receive sample chips and has promised a product by late November. There is nothing in an NDA about a general statement like that. To have a CEO say he wishes he could quit but can't doesn't give me that good of a feeling on our current state. I have been extremely supportive through this even after our main supporters began to jump ship. Not that this makes a difference, but I am also one of the top 10 shareholders so I have put my money where my mouth is so to speak. I am not giving up on this, but saying that in a private message was a poor choice and then Ken has not publicly explained himself and instead reacted with the trademark silence. It wouldn't take much to address it, or calm the fear this will cause. It wouldn't take much to reassure us that progress is being made. I'll even take the sentence progress is being made over the statement I wish I could quit. That interview a few weeks ago gave me a lot of reassurance. I wish I could leave too does not.

knybe has demonstrated his venomous side today whereas previously he just sounded like an immature kid whose rants suggested he felt the world owes him something.  I'm not entirely convinced he didn't edit the alleged PM from Ken as it's very simple to do.

Ken hasn't been online to defend himself.  A good indicator of that is if you see any posts from crumble that have still to be deleted.

Yeah, who knows. Ken is definitely not a great writer. There's been so many times that people have misunderstood what he has said (rightfully so). I think people are freaking out, and that's understandable. The mining climate is changing a lot, and it's not the same investment that we all started with. I'm a pretty large investor too. This sort of freak out always happens when the price of bitcoin has gone up. People see that their investment has devalued in bitcoins, while the bitcoins have increased in value.

Just stop already. You have no context and due to your vast ability to drone on and on about nothing; are now thoroughly ignored.

Please do me the favor of doing likewise.

He didn't edit it, that was the actual response. Personally I would just like an explanation. Yes, Ken isn't a very good communicator, and I have accepted that we probably aren't going to get progress reports until we have samples. But, I did not expect him to respond that way, and I would like to know why. Knybe like others here went from being a loyal supporter to being very discouraged. I have always maintained that we are on track, all is well, and that nothing has changed. I never was deterred by falling share price because to be this is all about late November. Still going to believe that but far less sure with Ken saying that.
