Verifying the identity to accept the account is essential to protect the interests and assets of the user, I do not complain about this, so will control the account to create name

this is a controversial issue, as probably many people thought about it. but, on the other hand, it will quickly become clear, and besides it is necessary to do selfie. however, this procedure is generally not safe, because you can use your data for criminal purposes

I firmly believe that Know Your Customer isn´t a suitable process for many cryptocurrencies. These don´t own the righs of securities and must not require of that approach.

Thia ia one of the disadvantages getting online transactions using blockchain unless otherwise thumb marks are used plus one on one video calls. Been part of a group too and I should really say that was unfair.

I agree that you should not send your real data to anyone. There is a high probability that they can fall into the hands of bad guys. For yourselves, to transfer fictitious data, no one will check a particular person from the other end of the world.

There is no way to avoid this. There are always people who want to get all the relevant KYC data for verification.

It's illegal, so it's punishable. I can not say that using fake personal data can bring me more profit. Because personally I always use reliable information about myself only in reliable projects. I feel better.

I hope in doing KYC we must be careful because we will not know for the future. That our personal data will be used for what. And I think to avoid a project using KYC for participants to join.

I think that is very inappropriate that you deceived other people just to have get what you need. sending fake IDs gives them a impression that you are a bad people and doing illegal things.

I have no problem in giving my real ID cards for KYCs. Only people  with multiple accounts are against this. What’s the worst thing that could happen to someone with a very low credit limit? Not getting paid because the ID sent was fake and got charged for falsification of documents.

Well, this is  annoying considering that nowadays lots of bounty and airdrop are asking for KYC. In fact, I think the numbers are already tens or even hundreds, maybe. I just think how stupid they are who send their KYC ID just a few cent from airdrop. No doubt if there are some people who use the airdrop with KYC model to deceive back them with a fake KYC.  Cheesy

I have been a fool in the past for seeing my real passport and other documents but I think we just have to step up the game. Because we don't know what's going to happen to such documents at the back end. I think we just need to be very careful and security minded

I think when it comes to using our personal information and documents for kyc project I think it's just very risky and unwise if we think of it the other way round. I believe with time all this kyc thing will stop

Forgery documents can be very dangerous, because at any time you can be asked to provide information or call you via Skype. Therefore, I do not think that this is a very good idea, and it costs sleepless nights.

I have Polymath and Bobs and they have non of my information.  Sorry you sent yours in.

Remember its not illegal to hand your friend a fake ID.  The KYC process is absurd as there is no way in hell they know who is on the other side of the ethernet cable.

Only fools send in real docs.  Jesus guys.

Check out the laws in your area and wisen up to the internet game.  Why in the hell would you give an unknown person your passport?

Yup.

Kyc is ridiculous enough. Do you people even know who you're sending your personal information to?? Do you trust them?

Heck, I cant even send my email out anymore without getting spammed like crazy!! So why would I trust these companies to keep my actual personal information private?

KYC is generally a complete formality in almost all projects. They collect data and in almost 50% of cases they are hacked and start mass mailings.

It your call as unless you know that team personally or some of the big name is associated with that team it can be little dangerous as you are unaware how your personal document could be used. We have seen what has happened with  the well known FACEBOOK what they have did it.
