Sending in fake ID for KYC

I don't think the Polymath KYC is legit. I heard that many of airdrop participant sending a fake ID to the application and they still get the airdrop rewards.
I think it's impossible the check all the KYC data one by one.

I participated in one of Amazix bounty which they required kyc. I mistakenly filled with a mistakenly ID which was different from the one on my national ID. Upon all the toil and others,i got nothing from that campaign.

I don't even see any meaning in KYC verification because the internet is anonymous and its very easy for a man to act like woman on internet. Therefore its very difficult for those ICOs to differentiate between real and fake documents.

I just was brought up to speed on groups of people sending in fake/Photoshopped ID's by scanning public records to defeat the KYC process and it seemingly is very easy to do.  It appears that many people sent in fake documentation to the Bob's and Polymath KYC and had no hassles.  How do these companies verify people if all they have to go on is public information?  Did they even really check the ID's or were they simply collected the data?  How rampant do you think this is?  How many of us are complete fools for turning in our documents when others simply faked it.  Now they have our data and the people who faked it are still secure.

Some bounty participants used fake id's and even others peoples id's and it's illegal. In some bounty program they included KYC to get your tokens and they simply want your selfie along with the id with some words written in a piece of paper. This is a very good idea since you can't fake it and only those who passed the requirements will get there tokens.

Expectdly no no would want to disclose personal information to an unknown party all in the name of investment. It is still understandable to some extent for those contributing to the ico but requesting for kyc from bounty and airdrop participants, that might end up receiving peanuts, its not worth giving a real information.

It is absurd, frustrating asking for personal documents to buy tokens, it force people to send in fake documents to bypass kyc process, i wouldn't blame them.

yes it is unequivocally wrong. I always send my documents and at the same time I take very high risks. it is very strange that projects allow people to deceive them because these are unequal conditions

I sent my data exactly my own, but I was confident in the project and was not mistaken, I believe that the fake data is not honest to send, and if you are in doubt in the project, then do not participate.

The worst case is some of the project has collected the documents and refuse tot suppose to do KYC because they ao send the tokens to the hunters who initially are are not investors. If anybody is faking KYC documents to send to all these project asking bounty hunters for documentations it is good for them because the project were not sincere in the first place by not informing the bounty hunter for the need to do KYC before registering for the bounty exercise. My fear is that hope they will not use those documentations for evil or crime.

I don't think that's fair. Why break the law and impersonate someone else? I don't think it's worth doing. Although sometimes I find a bounty campaign that seems to me too uncertain. And in this case I would not like to use my real documents. Perhaps, it is possible to justify it sometimes.

yes we cannot fully justify or blame it because everything depends on conditions. if only a project that looks very good then we don't need to use a fake ID, but if the project looks like a fraud, then I understand if there are people who use fake IDs for their own security. only human instincts want to be safer.

Of course you can try to get a KYC with a fake ID, but if something goes wrong you will not be able to register again on behalf of another person and will not receive your earnings.

They check the document forwarded, the problem they could be facing is how to know how real kyc gotten, i don't think government will give them access to it data base to verify.
