Sending in fake ID for KYC

KYC is invented here to improve the transparency in this field so we need to definitely give the original KYC for verification here otherwise there is something will be problem happened to you at any time so my opinion is giving the original will always been better.

Faking identity cards is not a surprised in this modern world. Most people are afraid to give out their personal information just for some coins which might not even have any value. But since they can't let go of their hard earned coins, then they have to present some fake documents for their coins.

I doubt most ICO's are checking documents so many people are abusing this without knowing that using fake ID is illegal. I would never invest in crypto project which is asking ID, there are many projects which don't and many projects who don't ask documents are better than projects which are asking them.

It's not fair for sure because other people are fair ro send their real Identity and better for them to send also the real information Id they have. I don't think other people do cheat even not good for the others if you want to send your kyc so don't join does it.

I just was brought up to speed on groups of people sending in fake/Photoshopped ID's by scanning public records to defeat the KYC process and it seemingly is very easy to do.  It appears that many people sent in fake documentation to the Bob's and Polymath KYC and had no hassles.  How do these companies verify people if all they have to go on is public information?  Did they even really check the ID's or were they simply collected the data?  How rampant do you think this is?  How many of us are complete fools for turning in our documents when others simply faked it.  Now they have our data and the people who faked it are still secure.

The KYC information are never checked nor verified and as such you won't be detected even when you send in fake IDs. If the project you are sending the information is not that important to you, just ignore the KYC.

I feel people send fake id because they don't trust unknown parties with their private details. They are even those who don't participate in anything that require you sending your id.

Sending KYC in this ico,sto whatsoever is not safe I think that's why other sends fake ID's they are afraid their data to be stolen a new website with weak security can easily hacked by hackers. KYC ruin the feature of cryptocurrency which to be anonymous but  US SEC requires everyone to do kyc because they don't allow US citizen to invest on ico looks like they want to control us.

maybe they just saw it, didn't research it. if they want to research and check, no one can cheat. because only original data is recorded in the government, fake data will never exist.

Choose the right bounty that you feel comfortable to work with.
 
Of course rules should be transparent from the very beginning and not just change it after the bounty.

And what I experienced about KYC problems, it didn't matter much. The only thing that made me disappointed was that after passing KYC I didn't get a coin. This is a fraud project and certainly makes me angry. But there are also good KYC projects that can be successful.

I agree with you, OP. I was too dumb in the past that I had sent my passport to a random ico that I wanted to invest in. That ICO few weeks later kinda exit scammed. They didn't deliver what they said they would and remained silent. The thing is, I have thought about sending fake IDs for KYC stuff but I literally have zero Photoshop knowledge

As you know KYC is must required everywhere for exchanges,ICO,s and some bounties also required KYC, some fake people or some people that wants to get more benefits they are cheating with KCY and making fake KYC , i suggest that every KYC should vidoe kyc and also exchanges and ICO;s should check all the data.

Definitely. But 3rd world countries tend to have kinda weak regulation and that is why most of the scammers that fake their ID coming from 3rd world countries
Professional services to verify ID is definitely still needed. Theres no other way to prevent it.
