I also made the same mistake, have did kyc for one airdrop (lame I know), and for one crypto trading platform.
Isn't it true that to do the Kyc in crypto trading we still have to use our original documents. because until now I have used my original documents to do Kyc, not with fake documents that we can edit with false information.

Reasons behind most of the fake KYCs documents are simple; many people do not want to submit their documents online to someone they do not know while some are bent people. I have a friend that does not do KYC online.

unfortunately now the system has been updated a lot. there are several projects that can detect fake documents from those who try to cheat the team. actually I myself don't like kyc but if it is required I don't think I need to worry about submitting our original documents as long as we trust if the project is really good and reliable.

Really very disturbing. What I am interested in is not genuine or fake KYC but the safety of our personal data.
My concern is that all of our personal data is stolen. So it will be dangerous for us, bank accounts ... to be completely attacked.

So far the documents I have sent are genuine and if I use fake documents, I will be found out. KYC indeed we have to do to get coins and in my opinion, it's not a problem. But you also have to be careful because not all projects use good KYC.

The Bounty manager must be more active in checking KYC. So there are no fake documents sent by participants in the Bounty campaign. Fraudsters will definitely send fake documents and if they accept it, I think it's unfair.

Though its not fair you shouldn't be worried about it that much what is important is you doing the right thing at the right time. What if it had been the other way round, you would be probably blaming yourself for not doing the right thing. After all what you need is  your bounty reward that was what made you compete the KYC.

Better to use your real ID and sent it to the KYC to don't have any problem in the future.
I have a lot fear to using real documents but personally i always using real ID. I don't what will be happen in the future.
I believe real project dev never abusing my documents. I heard some exchange selling user documents in the dark web.

Real project with reputable developers team must be want to protect trust from their investor or hunters. I am always using my real ID when KYC needed and i think KYC will applied in many ICOs in the future and maybe become new standard

It's not really fair though, but still for those people who are not filtered their personal informations like me who just wanted to recieve what we worked for them. And I think it is a good thing that not all participants are still not like those people who fake their identity, but still I hope that those kind of projects still checking it correctly their received data.

It is really unfair for those who sent their true identity,
I mean they risk their identity to get what they want while the other are just faking it and still anonymous .

I just was brought up to speed on groups of people sending in fake/Photoshopped ID's by scanning public records to defeat the KYC process and it seemingly is very easy to do.  It appears that many people sent in fake documentation to the Bob's and Polymath KYC and had no hassles.  How do these companies verify people if all they have to go on is public information?  Did they even really check the ID's or were they simply collected the data?  How rampant do you think this is?  How many of us are complete fools for turning in our documents when others simply faked it.  Now they have our data and the people who faked it are still secure.

NOT FAIR.

Life is like that. Truthfulness is not always useful in some cases. Investors want to steal our information, we should also have a strategy against them but still receive rewards.
I think in the coming times, you should not use your real ID because it will cause many negative effects for the future ahead.

It is your choice to fake or not. If you are heavily invested and it requires KYC, will you fake and risk your investment getting frozen or send real ID and risk getting your identity stolen? It is different for everybody but for me, I rather have my money stolen than my identity. That is why I avoid those investments with KYC or if it comes in a later stage, I avoid giving critical information.

Arent you scared participating on ICO that doesnt run KYC surely that sound fishy for me.  You might be right that it is better to lose your money that got identity stolen. Thats why i dont paticipate on ICO and just buy token at Dex echange when dumpers sold there bonuses.

This is sort of the question I ask about all these bounty hunters now. If they have such a huge problem trusting an ICO that wants to trust you, then simply do not do it. That is all.

They all demand "real team" with "real dev" and "Real Linkedin pages",,, but then they themselves are so afraid of doing KYC. You want to do a job in real life, you think you can fake your identity?

I do not believe in kyc for somethings, but if you want a ICO with real people, they surely have the right to want investors who are real people.

Really think that shit was nice, as far they did all the required tasks and also submitted an ID for the kyc process that's enough. Giving these guys ones true ID is never the way, who knows the real among them if anything happens who knows the project to point to due to a lot of passed kyc. We just need to be careful about these whole thing.

I ask myself this question. I am against KYC. I do not want to share my information with anyone, I personally do not know the people to whom I send the data. I think this is a very unfair decision to use KYC for bounty hunters. And why should I still provide KYC for my many months of work? I did the same work myself, and not someone ghostly! Send a fake passport - smart move!

Someone who has sent a fake ID in the KYC process is an irresponsible person. the data must be valid and in accordance with the user's data. this is the reason that for the KYC process, a strong and professional team is needed so that the KYC process can be believed to be true. a project must really recruit a qualified team so that it can minimize the occurrence of a fake ID.

Why do we need to provide our real ID? This is a project to collect information from people around the world and we really can't know the price for selling our information.
We can use the money to buy KYC of others or photoshop to be able to pass through.

Well talking about identity cards,  I really do not see reason why bounty hunters should send in their Data for kyc,   even though I send mine just so that I can receive my tokens, but I am really sceptical about it, because I do not know who is receiving it at the other end if they are genuine or fake. Our data needs to be protected. I do not support kyc for bounty hunters and I don't support fake identity card because if the company is genuine, one might loose their token.

I guess they didn't check it they just collected it and it was a mistake. Polymath is a very rare case because there are even people who have the same data and successfully received it, so I'm sure they didn't check it they just collected it.

Sending fake id just to get your rewards or participate in ico is completely unfair to those people who will send their real identity. If you think your identity is at risk by sending it to the ico team then what's the point of participating in them if you don't want to pass the kyc. Just avoid bounty campaign and ico that requires you to send your identity so you won't have a problem in the future.

If anyone can fake id for KYC than that person is also doing a scam. Never use other person ids for your personal KYC as it a fraud. If you are a real person then why are you hesitant to send your own documents rather than others.
