It's nice to know that our country is trying and pursuing to use bitcoin. I think it could help our government to rising up and improving our economy. A great opportunity will come to all Filipino's when bitcoin was already legalized and fully established to our country. I can see and imagine a great future to our economy and to our country's wealth when adapting and enhancing bitcoin will successfully done.. As developing country its very much welcome to our economy, it's help a lot of people in a certain country to know the system and how to maximize it in order earn a living.

Whoever is behind that seminar is definitely want to spread good news in the entire country about bitcoin. And there are also other good news for Pearl of the Orient. https://www.coindesk.com/philippines-banks-use-visas-blockchain-payments-platform/That's good news for filipinos but some industries here in the Philippines are still thinks its a scam. It's not only in Philippines but there are also other countries who can't move on and thinks that btc is a scam and sort of ponzi.

I never heard any issues regarding bitcoin in the Philippines because the country is more aware and focused to avoid the drugs and crime. There are seminars also in different parts of the world. I also heard that bitcoin was being introduced in some schools and colleges and my friend said he was present that time. Unfortunately, he is not interested at all which leads to regretting himself in the end.

I give full appreciation to the philippine country, however for the development of crypto in asia is quite difficult and too many prohibitions. maybe this will be followed by other asian countries.

Earlier, the central bank of the Philippines, promulgated rules for the use of Bitcoin. Then Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas announced its recognition of the crypto currency, as well as the fact that they are suitable for payments of various services and can be integrated into the economy for its more rapid growth, and it can also contribute to financial integration. By that time it was the Philippines that became the first Asian country in which it was accepted to regulate Bitcoin's crypto currency. A key role in this decision was played by the growth of the country's crypto-currency transactions. Deputy. director Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas said that in the country every thirty days there are transactions related to the crypto currency in the amount of six million dollars.

I think bitcoin's status in the Philippines is good enough as it is. The government shouldn't regulate it since it is self regulating. Bitcoins, I think, is the best thing that ever happened to the investment scene of the Philippines and I do hope it does continue to blossom in the country.

Ang saya Bitcoin was already introduced in the philippines i quess 2 years ago, that is when i heared about it and filipinos are enjoying faucets on the web. it was slow but it gradually took everyone's attention. Coinsph has added BTC wallet feature so filipinos can have a bitcoin wallet with a filipino vibe. i guess the only problem is, for 2 years i've been collecting satoshis and all, no filipinos are open minded to buy bitcoins, only abroad. im glad this seminar was held so more people can know more about it and this can elevate someone's buying power in the market who has saved bitcoins.

Wow! Amazing its great if Phillipines start accepting bitcoin it means the governments will allow it to use by thier countrymen. Even the social media will change about the negative thought in bitcoin. Even the people cant believe in bitcoin will convince to learn about bitcoin.
Things have finally started turning out in favor of the ones who kept on believing in bitcoin at time when it was hard to do so and that most of the governments have started to take this concept of crypto currency very much seriously and that they have started thinking of declaring the crypto currencies as legal currencies and that they are about to recognize these coins as official currency too in the near future.

OMG! Bitcoin in the Philippines? How come? I don't want these to happen in my country because I'm afraid if the government allows bitcoin to adopt in the philippines. Maybe the government has something plan with bitcoin that's why they conduct a seminar about those thing. But what if they accept it and put some tax on it? What do you think will happen with those bitcoin users, is it good impact for them or bad? I think this is not good for me. I'm complacent on what bitcoin status today whether it rises and fall. In my point of view the government of the Philippines is planning to put tax on bitcoin and other forms of crypto currencies that are used in this country just like in japan where the usage of bitcoin and other forms of crypto currencies are legalized with rules and regulations. Some people will agree and some people will disagree in this kind of matter because we all know that taxes are a real pain in the butt specially when it is too high and unbearable. I read some of the posts in this forum that the tax on crypto currencies on japan is ranging from 15% to 55% and the 55% tax is freaking high as f**k. I'm hoping that the tax in Philippines will not be as high as the tax in the Japanese government.

That's not what this article said. It was a private conference/sales seminar attended by a few dozen people that happened to include a few individuals in the government that were there in an unofficial capacity. Most of what was discussed was the concept of blockchain overall and how people hope to sell their own version of it locally. Bitcoin was discussed more for its notoriety as an example than anything else. This was NOT promoted or endorsed by the government. Yet I skimmed several (not all 20...I'd go crazy) pages of people that appear to be able to write in English but cannot understand what they read or write...

That’s a welcome development when the government start to recognizes crypto currency and even sponsored seminar about regulation. The regulation is only implies to the operator to the currency changer so that they will be protected againts unscropolous users that would take advantage of being anonymous and decentralized. I Yes indeed, this development is the next step to becoming open in cryptocurrency which every people need to understand. Central banks should implement this seminars not only in a certain country but throughout the world to educate people that cryptocurrency is not a fraud and could help them improve their way of living.

I know it that Philippines will start to accept bitcoin from the start because even since bitcoin has become a popular currency in Philippines, the central bank didn't do anything to ban it but instead they accepted it. Now they are making some regulations I think in order to make bitcoin a legalized currency. They have accepted it but they don't forget to give some advice to them.

It looks so amazing to see bitcoin and other coins spreading in different areas of world. Such countries are starting their economical portfolio by sharing the resources for mingling and trading in bitcoin. They will get benefit when the bitcoin will be super currency of the world. At that time, their hard work for developing and promoting, accepting bitcoin will be paid off in best possible way.
