will certainly look into this !  looks like some great work here !!

I've completed some more performance work on blake256.cl and updated my gist https://gist.github.com/Griffitsj/55349ccee17bbf87ffd5

This gives 1.3% speed improvement on my rig.  To use it you need to replace the blake256.cl file in your cgminer directory and delete all the .bin files.  This only works with the 3.7.2 cgminer release for blakecoin by the way (windows + linux)

The optimisations are basically rewriting it to explicitly use vector based operations (uint4).  Using the OpenCL profiler it confirmed that there were some performance improvements:
  • clock cycles per wavefront went from 88 down to 84
  • Scalar ALU operations went from 18 down to 17
  • Scalar General Purpose Registers went from 22 down to 19
  • All other metrics stayed the same

Interestingly the vector changes themselves didn't give the speedup I was hoping for as it seems the OpenCL compiler is clever enough to use vectors if it can but some of the other changes I made while restructuring to use vectors must have had a beneficial effect.

Check out my coin Photon
Merge Mine 5 other Blake 256 coins - 6x your hash power  https://www.blakecoin.org/

The obvious choice is not always the best choice.

Had an issue with NY2 pool worked with provider needed to move to a new ip address, ping ny2.blakecoin.com to double check you get the new server ip 107.170.132.68 as DNS can take some time to converge

Hi
Can anyone help? I can't edit my account on the ny2 pool. I get this message ending" | | | | | | unused1 | unused2 | Duplicate entry '' for key 'coin_address_mm4'". The identical page on the eu3 pool updates without a problem.

Thanks

bug in front end just enter all wallet addresses for BLC,PHO,BBTC,XDQ,ELT,UMO (leave unused 1/2 as they are)

looks like you have not entered any wallet addresses thats why it throws an error empty wallet address = duplicate

no hw for now, just config error...used -k blake256 = produce invalid nonce and hw, --blake256 ok

btw, what is current easiest way to setup not merged pool for any blake256 coin? I tried eloipool from your git, a little complicated thing

eloipool is the best way and running the mmp for merged is not much more than just running eloipool on its own, setting up MPOS or NOMP to run on top of eloipool is the hard bit but just running eloipool as a private pool is not hard

This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on Aug 15th unless the average trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.1 BTC

go off?

Yeah I sent a message to Bittrex no reply yet but really busy with game dev atm and trading on Bittrex to get their minimum 0.1 BTC per day market volume is not high on my list

I have explained everything to the Bittrex team if they delist its not down to my lack of trying  Cry

0.1btc = 10000-15000 blc. This is really nonsense.  I am sometimes so much the swap.

I think 0.1btc would be closer to 7,000blc if my math is correct. regardless, its a pretty small amount but it just goes to show that few people use bittrex for their blc trading. atomic-trade is currently the preferred exchange for blc, just compare the volume its been around $1,500 per day lately. In fact, if you look at the blakecoin charts here

www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/pair/blc/btc/atomic-trade/

you can see that trade volume on atomic-trade has increased significantly while all other exchanges have dropped to almost no volume. You can also see here

http://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/atomic-trade/

that blakecoin accounted for 70% of total trade volume on atomic trade in past 24 hours (i was unable to find stats for past week/month etc). I'm sure bittrex must be aware of this, perhaps threatening to delist is just their way of trying to get some traders to move over to their exchange. Of course its ideal to have blc on as many exchanges as possible, but bittrex is the only one loosing out if they delist blakecoin especially with the game stuff right around the corner. At any rate, I'm not worried about it, blakecoin is still going strong and steady as far as i'm concerned  Grin

0.1/0.00001401=7138. 7-8 thousand, it is a little.

We have been supporters of Blakecoin for quite some time and have given multiple extensions in the hope that interest would build and your supporters would trade on Bittrex. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case but we have until Friday to see how things progress. 0.1 BTC of volume is a very small amount to help defer some of our costs. If the BLC market goes away, we'll be happy to relaunch the BLC once the game ships and interest in trading rebuilds.

I tried my best I will be withdrawing my support for Bittrex once they delist on Friday  Cry
