@cryptx and others. We have the weekly div payout on friday. If you look historically at the BTC prices day by day, I think that friday is one of the worst days to change you btc to fiat. Maybe it's an idea to change the div to thursdaymornings. Most of the time I see an higher price at that moment compared to fridays.
Just an idea to lower the managementfees for all of us.
Edit: almost forgot, thanx Cryptx and co for all the hard work for my moneytree.
CryptX, please take into serious consideration the above. he makes an excellent point. BTC regularly takes a dive before the weekend as traders exit the market, putting the dividend and hosting fees on a monday afternoon or a tuesday would see our costs significantly reduced. Thanks,

thanks for the great dividend and work behind it. I hope we will get also some news for the other miners.
does anyone care to explain me the annual yeld calculation? Could the price variation before dividend announcement play a role?

First, thanks. Then my suspect is correct. Lower share price when div is announced, makes the annual yeld (look) better. Or is it something else? I mean, why selling before getting dividends?

First, thanks. Then my suspect is correct. Lower share price when div is announced, makes the annual yeld (look) better. Or is it something else? I mean, why selling before getting dividends? Selling before dividends for 3 reasons: 1 - the reason you mention 2 - lower than expected div means price will drop, so those with low div expectations sell to avoid drop 3 - price usually swells the day before divs payout, so some people buy on wed/thurs and sell right before div payout

0.00068164/0.0675 * 52 = 52% You invest 1btc and two years later you have 1 btc plus the value of your share. The value of share depends if we can overpass and grow faster than the difficulty. If we stay like this (comparatively to diff) I think the real value is somewhere near 0.1/share when people will have some trust. If the bitcoin reach again $1000 or why not $2000 and is popular in shops and consumers wallets, the share value would be... may be... 1 BTC

maybe the people selling fall into those day trader category, where the profit selling the shares is greater than divideny payout.
The risk with this strategy is the share price going up, and them no being able to rebuy in at lower cost price
e.g.
Day Trader buys 10 shares for 0.05 each on Wednesday = 0.5 Dividend comes out on Friday at 0.0005 per share = 10 x 0.0005 = 0.005. Total value is 0.505 On Friday share price is 0.051 before dividend, selling 10 shares would be 0.51
In this scenario, selling the shares before dividend is more profitable
The trader would then put a buy order in for 10 shares at 0.05 each, hoping to buyback in for original share price, holding onto his 0.01 profit. The risk is if the share price increases rather than decreases the trader may lose their profit buying back in.

Dividend:
117.11415716 BTC in total from mining and converted NMC's: - 54.99030742 as Dividend (0.00068164 BTC / share) - 29.61016553 Reinvestment (which will be reinvested in new systems, 5 x 1TH units) - 32.51368421 Hosting Fee
Status Update: - We deployed our first new production units and they are steadily hashing, additional units should also arrive in the coming week. - There was some speculation about the 23.399 BTC deposit, this was just a manual withdrawal request from ghash.io for mined coins. So, 350 Chips are still for sale.

Fantastic! PetaMine makes Fridays excellent. Can you tell us anything about the custom boards, or is it top secret? I'm just very curious, what does the magic look like?

BTC regularly takes a dive before the weekend as traders exit the market, putting the dividend and hosting fees on a monday afternoon or a tuesday would see our costs significantly reduced. Hummm very interesting! How about ... if Cryptx says changing the weekly dividend timing is a reasonable thing to do (who knows, maybe there are business reasons or tech nuisances that we couldn't know), then some of you geniuses figure out what time(s) in the week are best (based on historical data and/or logical reasoning) and decide something, with some numbers to show how much BTC would have been saved. Then Cryptx can change the dividend timing, giving us one short or long "week", which will create its own exception in the ongoing financial analyses but there you have it. (btw when I say "you geniuses" I mean it affectionately. I definitely don't have the interest in doing something like this, but I appreciate that others do, and it could be useful for all of us long-term.) Cheers all and esp. to Cryptx team! J

Nice payout. Keep up the good work cryptx.
*Digging the NMC boost, any word on IXC and DVC situation? Again, would love to cast my vote for auto-reinvestment in hardware for those as well.

I am extremely happy with the job CryptX is doing! Kudos to you! It's a pleasure to come to this thread everyday. It would be great if we could organise an investor meeting somewhere someday. Anybody who is coming to China (Beijing) send me a pm to meet up for a beer or three.
BUT: What is going on with Bitmine is bothering me quite a lot. I have followed their official thread. The last update was over a week ago and did not contain any specific information whatsoever. Although I am just a small investor in this venture we all could be much better of if they had delivered their rigs in time. Sure bitmine might be a small company in a difficult situation but they have received big amounts of cash, given out guarantees and are not/late delivering. With every week that passes we loose how much of possible profits and reinvestments? 250 TH: 8k USD per day? 250k per month?
PS: I am presently making enquiries how much it would cost to host Chinese miners directly in a professional datacenter in Beijing. I will send the results to CryptX via PM/email and post the results here. That way we could save transportation and tax and would not have to ramp up the Belgian datacenter. I don't want to make any profit with this just want to contribute to this great venture. Happy Easter everybody!

Good job on the custom systems.
@Cryptx
As Bitmine´s production remains low and they didn´t meet their contractually stated deadlines again, would it be an option to simply convert the order of rigs/desks into a larger order of Chips? (larger because assembly cost, PSU cost etc., aswell as compensation for late delivery...)
Assuming you can produce a decent amount of units per week (which this week has shown us) this might be a faster, cheaper solution with considerable advantages for both us and them.
I dont know the leadtime for parts used in your system. However, i think hat bitmine might also be happy with that agreement, as they would no longer need to compensate for their continouing delay.
