I am trying to get this to work with tag coin.  I type this after the executable but I get errors.  What am I doing wrong?

--scrypt -o stratum+tcp://tagmining.com:3333 -u Weblogin.Worker -p Worker password

I assume that is because these instructions are for the cpgminer, what do I need to change?  Thanks.

@Mobgod - just the IDs at the moment, and then transfer out or in via the exchange. We have to write some more code to make it work with the wallet servers, but it is in the queue to do...

Download guiminer scrypt. Makes it super easy: http://guiminer.org/guiminer-scrypt.html.  If you get stuck I'll post a screenshot of how to set it up.

You are actually typing the workers and password you registered with the site not " -u Weblogin.Worker -p Worker password"

In my case for example it would be : --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://tagmining.com:3333 -u johndec.1 -p qwerty .  No that's not my password, just the first 5 letters on the keyboard!  Grin

Can someone explain how the Proof of Stake works? I read the info on some wikis and stackexchange and it seems, we're supposed to get 1.5% per year / 12 months in a year. So the monthly "interest" rate is 0.125% per 30 days.

And that's only for coins which are at stake. So recent coins that moved around don't count?

And for the miners, what's a good setup? Anything that can do scrypt (Litecoins)? That means, currently, high end AMD video cards?

I want to use tagmining.com. and yes I am actually typing in my password.

I have no idea if I should be using this cgminer though or the cpu miner, and if I should be using stratum or not?  Been in the community forever and never one setup mining.

Thanks,

Screenshot would be great.

I'll also add, I got the cpuminer working with this command line.

-a scrypt -o stratum+tcp://tagmining.com:3333 -u Weblogin.Worker -p Worker password

I can login to tagmining and see that hit is hashing; however, only at 14 Khash/s

My laptop does have an nvidia card which I think is what cgminer uses.  Still need helping setting that up.

*Edit- DON'T MINE ON YOUR LAPTOP!  Not that I don't want your hashing power, but you'll roast your laptop if you try to mine with it.  They just aren't set up with the cooling to handle mining.

Thanks for the support, Superbit.  Sorry for the late response on this.

I've posted a config file at this URL https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=324938.msg3560121#msg3560121

If you're having any issues after setting it up, let me know in a PM Superbits, I'll get you squared away.

If you are using cpuminer, then it is using your CPU and not GPU, hence the 14kh/s.

I don't think your laptop nVidia will be able to GPU mine.  Someone can confirm or correct me if i'm wrong.

I think Eli0t is having the same problem I had.  So I told him to reset his password from tagbond.com and use the given password to logon at trade.tagbond.com.
