I have been last two week offline and now start client again. Now i see Balance 2006 TAG and Stake 5945 TAG. What that is? Wallet is full synced and where is this my 6000 coins?

Edit.
Before that was all in my wallet balance https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=317408.msg3780609#msg3780609

If I'm not mistaken, this is part of the Proof of Stake of TAG. If a wallet is online and synced and not doing anything, it proves to the network that the coins are yours and do exist by setting some aside for proof, and you get some small interest amount back. That's what it sounds like is happening, but it's strange to me to see such a high amount for Stake.

All 6k of 8k still stay in stake. How long this normal take? That all coins is my first transfer to wallet over 1.5 month ago.

They will stay in stake for 200 confirms, same as mining PoW coins then the new amount will transfer to your main balance..

Hi,
You need very new AMD Catalyst drivers for the R9 280x cards to be working at top speed. I am using BAMT as well and have it altered to use the Catalyst 13.4 drivers and CGMiner 3.7.2 which is the last to support Scrypt. I can see if i put the image online via my site www.megamineros.com?

That would be great - I have the latest drivers downloaded, but would be good if you have everything ready to go..would save me so much time..

...and also interesting to see Spanish TAG mining site..Wink

It may also be a motherboard/bios related issue. I've seen my bamt sticks work perfect on the ASRock motherboards, but put on a Gigabyte/Asus motherboard, and they throw the exact errors you're talking about.

Buddy of mine had to buy a whole new motherboard just to mine with. It didn't matter what driver version or OS he used, he kept getting the same errors.

Food for thought.

12x drivers have historically been the fastest in BAMT. I saw 720kh+ out of my 7950's with them. But, hardware varies, so anything is possible.

If there is a need for it, I have added a translate feature to the site's chat menu.  You need to be logged in to view it, and I'm not sure how well it translates(I don't speak very good spanish)... but it should be a start.  I will look into how to hard code something for the site, or see if there a way to switch on the fly.

-Fuse

Edit- just noticed the translation breaks the readouts on the radial graphs.  I will leave it up for now, just for the hell of it.

@vesperwillow - if that's true then I have wasted a pile of money on 15 motherboards...

@tagbond, on your exchange, it seems to be introducing rounding errors. My sell price is 100, not 100.00000004. Maybe it should use 9 decimal places internally, then truncate to 8.

There's likely a way around it. I just speak from my limited experience with a few motherboards. Others may be able to offer tips/solutions. Definitely explore some other drivers.

I got one gigabyte motherboard working with xubuntu but i remember it being super tricky, took me about 4 attempts.

Once I found a combo which worked "off the shelf" (bamt / asrock) I stuck with it.

Maybe try Windows? (Would XP / 7 work?)

If it works, just sell the locals the hardware with no proprietary software (the OS). Do include the open source stuff, or have it available for download. Let them pay for the Windows license. Of course, we all know they're just going to ... ... no further comments. Most big computer and internet cafe shops can legally get Windows XP/7/8 for about PHP 1500 each. Microsoft has this RRA (Rental Rights Agreement), since they mainly want to combat piracy, so they legalize the licensing only for the Philippine market.

But if it works, then it works.

@tagbond, I'll take one as soon as you get it "working". Then I'd like to talk to you about the rest as I plan on getting them too.

*edit* seems you had it working on Win 8. Maybe it would work better on Win 7?

@tagbond, I sent you an email. I'm buying some rigs when you get it working. You might want to try other motherboards when you re-supply.

I just checked my Meralco (Manila Electric Company) bills. Doing a little calculations, I get the following in USD:

0.2852
0.3079
0.3181
0.3409
0.3636

It goes lower when the bill is higher.

So, if I get 11 GPU rigs consuming 11000 watts (doing 15 MH/s), that means I'm paying more than $2000 USD per month in power costs. That's half the revenue in mined coins. That sucks. (However, that also means, I'm getting $2000 USD I can use to pay whatever.)

You guys in Iceland have it a lot better.

Even then, paying the bill isn't as much an issue as having the wiring in place to support the power. At that level you need to have a subpanel or 2 installed.

I have a small factory that uses 1000 watt pressing irons. That low number (0.28!!!!) is from there, where I am currently paying about $2000 USD per month.

Now, I'm not sure the building is equipped to double the electric power consumption. Maybe I can run it only at night or something, when everything else is shut down.

I just need an excuse to tell the boss I'm setting up a new computer system. eh, hehehe.

Mark's place would be better. Smiley I'll just own the hardware.

Yes, the power issues are important. For example, 15 RIGS with 10150 PSUs and 2 x 280x cards in each will draw about 12kw (12,000 / 240 = 50 AMPS, and for that you will need say a 60 amp breaker at the main board and thicker wiring. I have spare 20 AMP breakers, you basically just run 3 circuits to the wall sockets and run 5 RIGS on each.

All my veggie crate miners are built on Gigabyte boards, but I am running Windows 7. I will be trying to run a miner on Vesper's BAMT in the next few days... will let you know how things work out.

I'll be trying it out as well on a UD3 board.  I just need to wait on the replacement PSU to get here, as the one I was shipped was DOA.  Bastages!

I'll have to roll some with some wifi on it though, so I'll be doing a bit of tweaking... but I'm excited to try it out.
