Truth that patience.. I bought .02 BTC of TEK a few months back just sold em for .2 BTC! And I still have a couple thousand invested  Grin Grin Grin

Wish I would've bought more.. lol..

I started with 4000 TEK last year now they are over 100k TEK I couldn't be happier. Well i could if the stake goes back to 40%.

The price just went up 100% compared to about a month ago. Nice.  Grin

PoS does seem to go to about 10% now.

right now http://blockexperts.com/tek/height/927428 Difficulty   0.00382335 = 16.35%

wonder if price surging up will cause people to start breaking coins out of stake and drop the pos diff, guess we will see soon enough.

Hi Thundertoe,

Would it be posible to post the formula for POS?
That way it is easy to calculate the rate ourselves depending on the diff.

Thanks.

It will be nice to add a PoS calculator to the wallet, NET coin has it.

goto http://blockexperts.com/tek/  pick a recent pos block and look at the details like http://blockexperts.com/tek/height/928115

then take the pos generated and divide it by the original block size. 12.46/79.07=15.75%

so if you really only stake every 60 days instead of keeping your wallet open and staking every days, is it truly more profitable?

If you keep your wallet locked, you will stake for the days that they haven't stake, that being said you can monitor when the stake PoS is low in difficulty and can unlock to get the highest percentage.

For instance, my wallet is locked and ready to stake and it is 5 days past stake time, but I am waiting until the difficulty drops to unlock it.

I have them broken to 30 blocks so I can stake on every day.
But my wallet has been locked fo 5 days, so 5 blocks are ready to stake as soon as I unlock it.

I plan on combining them. As I used to have 1 block and I split them 2 months ago to 30 blocks.

I used to have just one block, but thought I saw somewhere that it was better to break them up , so now I have 25 blocks of 5k but if it is better to just stake every other month, I don't see any advantage to staking everyday like I do with NET

If staking smaller blocks causes the difficulty to increase it might be a good idea to not break the blocks into two with each stake.  It also might be a good idea to post that on the main tekcoin.org site.
A few pages back someone was posting their 1 and 2 tekcoin stakes, maybe they don't know that it causing them to loose money in the long run.

I am thinking that there are many running TEK wallets staking 24/7 these days on Raspberry units or similar.
These are probably staking hundreds of smaller blocks too.

Every other month?

But if you have a block which is 60 days old, don't you lose the coins which you would get if you would stake at 30 days?

For example, you have 1000 TEK, after 30 days you stake at 10% and you get 1100 coins to stake the next month.

If you stake every other month, in 60 days you ll still have that original 1000 TEK block to stake.
