If it is this easy to get the 40% every month what can prevent inflation?

Maybe you cant, i doubt prices go up forever without some swings. I bet the recent run up in price killed off some staking wallets, say people had coins 15 days old but they see price go up and get out with no stake at all. The only thing i know to try and gauge it by is prior mintage and looking investors #'s and what btc volume/tek price trends have been. maybe some real chart understanding, market knowledgeable  people have better insight and will chime in.

 It is crypto anything is possible(doge smh),  so i am hopeful. I also like the fact not many are in atm, and volume trade is building. cryptsy has 2k+ btc volume in a day tek might get 2-12btc of that so in my eyes that is alot of market share left for taking.

Happens about twice a day. Then the difficulty adjustment drives the multipools away again. I've been watching it for months.

On the bickering: I've spoken at length with both men. As it turns out, without revealing details, they aren't angry with each other, there was no fight, just some fear of things that might happen.

No bad things for TEK. Also presstab has graciously allowed me to make the source available as he had it, with the caveat that some portions of it are untested. I'm not going to do so right this minute, but I'll put a link to it up for later.

It is my hope that he will return to us and continue some of the development. He's a good guy, and so is Thundertoe. This was basically a big misunderstanding.

So, let's get on with the business of making TEK outperform bitcoin

Short answer: NVCS

Long answer: NVCS (which stands for NoVaCoin Stake, initialism invented by StakeHunter, as far as I know) is decreasing stake. The more people stake, the less the interest. For instance, Novacoin was at 100% interest when it launches and it is now at 40%. The same way, HBN is at 100% and should be at 90% in one year, assuming as much people continue to stake as they do now.
This plus, as Thundertoe mentionned, people cashing out on price increase instead of continuing to stake (sometimes without even waiting for the end of the stake period, so essentially wasting stake - hint: use coin control to avoid involontary wasting).

I'm concerned it is rising too fast. A correction will occur eventually, but when? Hard to know since the price itself doesn't increase fast, only the volume - and coinmarketcap watchers are not use to this.
