there is a new type of multipool i think causing some confusion here. A multipool that pays out in tek(not btc) for mining the multipool?

yes, not a normal multi that mines a coin and you have multiple addresses for multiple coins, but a multi that mines alt coins and pays you out in TEK, but none of this is done automatically - hence why you (the miner) get the honour of paying fees at every step.

Are the "Daily Tek Mineable" accurate?

yes, cron updates every 30 seconds and shows statistics correctly according to local hashrate vs network hashrate  Smiley

Old version, 1.01 doesn't sync, this is because there have been some changes to the blockchain.
If it would sync, you would end up on a forked chain.

Current versions, both 1.2, downloads are on 1st message or OP from this thread :

windows https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0M-bp2HC0eYZHU0a3B2NFFzQVU/edit?usp=sharing
Mac wallet: http://tek.blockx.info/tekcoin-1.2.0.0-macosx.dmg

You can check current version as usual :
Help -> about

And if it is synced and blocknumbers are the same as can be found in block explorer you should be fine.

Ive got  1070 tek sell up, feel free to buy that xD
I did Smiley

I agree with biomech on the necessity to spend TEK from time to time. My trading plan is to stake enough to have 12 BTC a month. At this moment, I will sell every month 25% of my stake, ending with 3 BTC per month (StakeHunter pledge: sell 25% of your stacking every month). If after this moment, selling 25% of my stake doesn't translate into 3 BTC (because of a price drop), I don't know what I will do - probably stake more until it happens

Selling 3230 Tek for 2BTC.  Pm me.
A bit less than 61,920 satoshi per TEK. Too expensive for me.

Whatever you bought, wasn't mine xD
That was some days ago, during the dump.

Anyone know what caused the dump this week? Was someone spreading FUD or is it just that everyone received their monthly stake and decided to all sell at the same time?

I'm agreeing. You got two things going on. One, it got really hard to get ANY tek about 30 days ago. Two, it's the beginning of the month, and everybody got bills. Three, BTC went nuts. I think we're just seeing some profit taking. The two stage dump was a bit of a surprise, though. the price had nearly recovered, and then dropped again. Hopefully next month the stakeholders will be a little wiser in their sells.

Wait, what am I saying? Dump that shit! I'll be ready for it next month! Grin

I managed to buy a small amount again today - however... gotta be said here.. since folks jumped off central cavern yesterday (to pay 1.5% to miners-point!???!!!) I mined 50TEK in 24 hrs. Not bad going.
Guys, I totally understand that you are wary of new pools, but trust me, i'm all in on TEK and there is no way i'd want to do any damage to the coin in any kind of majority hashrate attack. come back to central cavern! Our luck is far better than the rest and our servers are far superior - 6xCPU 8GBRAM with local ddos firewalls (not cloudflare) on every server. Each coin has it's own dedicated server; come on folks.. it's silly to pay inflated fees when you can get so much better elsewhere!

Yop. Gotta have my bro's back, as long as he's right. I've been mining at central cavern since a bit before he took it live. No issues, and I've gotten a slightly better payout. I don't know if that's "luck", the lower fee, or a bit of both. But either way it's a damn fine pool. Come join us!

Oh, for those who don't know, I usually mine under the name JemHadar, so if you go looking for "Biomech" and don't see me, I'm not lying.
