Questions about the Stake fix.

My blocks usually stakes on the 8th and as you know they did not stake due to the issue, but here is the question in the next week when we hit the hard fork and get our coins staking that are past due, do we still stake on the same days in my case on the 8th-9th of next month?

Or will we lose our waiting period while the wallet was fixed?

once you get your payment, the days reset so it will stake 30 days after whenever that last stake payment is dated, yeah you will be off the 8/9th and maybe be more like 29/30th of each month now
your timeframe is moved.
 however the stake payment your going to get this time will be higher than normal it compensates you for the longer wait time

So here is what I am submitting to the server when a block is found:

08/22/2014 15:12:32 -04:00 [Verbose] [DaemonClient] [Tekcoin] tx: "{
    'method' : 'submitblock',
    'params' : [
        '040000000dff5937411723cf72b0d2f8bf6de5a47c3dc8759ad2b575bd2e0000000000008f37b93 84874f370d4c6b25a7a7449a3f7bbe6ac27b47f0d44f6140c205fbe9cf295f75399e6471a5678ca 730202000000010000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000f fffffff260337a407062f503253482f03de7e150858000002ca0800000d2f436f696e69756d5365 72762f0000000001a4420f00000000001976a914bcd1b88df6e305db8205c3683d5485b367b8880 588ac000000001b687474703a2f2f7777772e636f696e69756d736572762e636f6d2f0100000095 95f75301f852392b088bc16093b5b330bfc04dae9542757968f8d0393be85b01d96029c10000000 048473044022052f469bbb2ad373dd6019ce5f9b15510276d45b34ef66003fc339d123c4a060902 203c31dba447bc7c6bf91e6d5b624c124b4eac0f3ef8cd4bad2de0a9cfab66cc3b01ffffffff028 1270100000000001976a91458a916dd86bb129a48ebafbb89bc66c4aa08e91388ac5b1a0e000000 00001976a9146ba3eb6c5b511f1b56762d9aec30e45d511fa4c388ac0000000000'
    ],
    'id' : 48
}"

And the error back from the wallet:

[Tekcoin] Submit block failed - height: 500791, hash: 00000000000000d8cb3e0852e221f5122474005f5d9b0a5570b51f85a803256d - Unable to sign block, wallet locked?

I get the same thing when I manually paste the block hash into the debut window.

I know my wallet is not locked because it is not encrypted,  any clues on this?

There is nothing  new for me. Still 1775 TEK pending.

They only pay small amounts immediately.
For larger amounts, they do not have the money. Why pay, when you can  40% more on Monday.

I just withdrawn 52 TEK and it came within 1 minute, but still waiting for the 1514 TEK, Think they are waiting to claim the interest!

I have a Mac Wallet. How do I transfer my coins without losing coin age over to my recently downloaded Windows wallet? If someone could provide step by step instructions I would be grateful and willing to donate for their time.
Best way export your private keys and import in Win wallet.
With this you don't have to worry about specific files being compatible with Win or Mac.

Agreed.  I am not happy at all with Cryptsy.  Considering it's a US based exchange a class action suit threat might be needed here... There is a very easy method for calculating damages here.

Cryptsy works well most of the time, and has the benefit of being one of the largest exchanges and being high volume. But in my opinion, TEK has too much risk only using one exchange. All of those complaining need to put their words to action and get a new exchange. I recommend coin-swap, they do charge 1 btc, but can get you up and running in 24 hours. Allcoin is also an awesome exchange, but you would have to do some work in the trollbox to get on there since voting is now disabled.

Is it just me or does the wallet from the stakefix zip look exactly the same as the old wallet?  version says 1.1 and all... I thought it was going to be a different skin...

Did I do it wrong?

Edit:

Yes.  I downloaded from: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BwGL9FkcBurENzRxaTVURllUVkk/edit

Yes.  I had to install the light version of Win32OpenSSL

Yes.  I deleted the old tekcoin folder under \appdata\roaming first

Yes.  I deleted the entire wallet (minus the wallet backup).

Just making sure that I did what I was supposed to do.

Yes that should do it.
However there is NO need to delete the blockchain.

Also Presstab has released a better update.
That one does not need OpenSSL installed and has other files integrated into one file.

Here is a static windows build, should have no dll's.
