Yeah, the 4.08% annual interest is kinda low but still it's better than before. Before there was nothing, nothing at all, just an ordinary faucet gambling site. The best move so far was removing the captcha for faucet claims. Hoping they will increase the compounding interest.

Just spent around 0.03 btc last night just to hit the first prize and i got nothing there. And now suddenly they make it provably fair? Sure wasting my btc for last week. Come on dude, they are now provably fair (the lottery). Have you visited the site recently? Didn't you see the new provably fair page? About android app, afaik they have never made any android apps so far. So if you found freebitcoin android app, thats not an official app.

The compounding interest thing is really an awesome move but still it is low, but better than nothing. So yeah, thanks to the owner for the updates. More actions are being done on the site as compared from last year.

I was also searching where we can check this lottery system is fair but have nothing about this and never have any person who post here about this because most of time we have random addresses as winners if OP want some more audience in this lottery need to work on this system in future

This has gone hardly unnoticed, but I just want to thank Wetsuit for posting it on here. I have been one of the skeptics on this forum about the fairness of the Lottery and now you guys come up with this. ^smile^ A lot of people will try to poke holes into this method, but I think it is an excellent step in the right direction. Thank you for all the hard work that was obviously done to accomplish this task. You never fail to deliver. ^smile^

That is an interesting article. Back then blockchain.info was ranked 3,641 vs freebitco.in's 4,795 but as of today blockchain.info is at 1,284 and we are at 1,553 so we seem to be closing the gap. Maybe one day we shall be the most popular bitcoin website.

Captcha hasn't been removed for all users, we still have a lot of bots trying to abuse the faucet. It is only removed for users who play MULTIPLY BTC/buy tickets over a certain amount since abusers wouldn't do that as it is not profitable for them to do so.

What do you mean a lot? They scam a lot of lottery ticket? I do not think so, because some of them are really burn their btc on their hi-lo games, so I think that they get their income from this thing, mean while big spender will always get more tickets because they spend a lot so they have bigger chance here. You should check their site more often to make sure you understand about their provably fair system now

I used to play hi/low game, but i don't know if it was certain amount.. it looks like it was not  For one person big amount for gamble can be 10 BTC for other person it can be just 0.01 BTC. True man. My first pay of bitcoin was also from freebitco.in  . Though it was not a big amount it does gives you goosebumps when waiting for the amount to be received in our wallet. I still use it for fun as it is a great pass time than any other site. Better freebitco.in than facebook :-p
And also here this site was my first site to make gambling but I was unaware about such things , that what is gambling .
