secure your private keys, do not simply click on any links especially those sent to our email inbox.

in most cases, investors through their own fault, not realizing it, become the sting of scammers and swindlers. to protect the crypto currency, you need to adhere to some recommendations that will reduce the risk of hacking your wallet. but in addition to these recommendations, you yourself should be vigilant: do not go by third-party links, drive the purse address right into the address bar, monitor the security of your device and so on.

The only safe way to store you alts is to store them in a hardware wallet such as Ledger or Trezor. When you generate a seed using a hardware wallet it is not shared with the computer system and hence even if your computer is having any kind of malware or virus

I advise the antivirus. Recently, many PC users have abandoned the antivirus, but this is an integral part of protecting your funds. It is through various kinds of viruses, scammers and get your data, and often complete control over your computer.

Antivirus protects against the most old version of viruses, it is no panacea. I have refused of antivirus a few years ago. I advise to update browser and turn off js for every new sites.

For me, the most simple way is don't store your private keys in your email or computer. The most safe ways is using a hardware wallet if you have one, which is the most secured, add some metamask extension.

In order to protect their Altcoins from the fall, they need to constantly pass on capital to the most defunct Altcoins. Cool

With the recent hack in myetherwallet,it is important to take security very seriously, what I do is to secure my tokens in a wallet that doesn't even have a website to hack, like eidoo and imtoken.

The best way to protect your altcoin is to store it to your trusted wallet; do not let others to get your information, passwords etc. Thus, always keep your privacy on yourself.

What is the best methods to protect altcoin from hacker?

What I can say and the best method I can recommend to everyone is RESPONSIBILITY. Be responsible to your private keys. There is no other way hacker can hack your ethereum wallet without your private key or json file. Try to be wise, do not put your private key on your computer or laptop, because hackers can get into your computer or laptop if you have no security at all. Invest in flash drives and put your private key there. To enable for you to access your wallet if you want to manage it, use metamask to avoid the risk of being hacked.

If you have large amount of money invested in the crypto markets than the best method would be to buy a hardware wallet. They are the safest way to store your altcoins. But if you can't afford a hardware wallet then using a separate PC for crypto related wallets and transactions would be the recommended way.

I also you metamask to keep my wallet and even if you keep your private keys in the world most safest place or you use the world most safest wallet and still don't avoid human error, your wallet is still danger.

If you want to keep your coins safe, keep them offline. Never store on a trading website, or an online wallet. Keep them on a flash drive and have the password on a paper.

First is protecting the key-private securely and privately. t is better to save the private key in my hard file or soft file in offline mode. However, I think of using the hard-wallet but I don't have any capital to buy it. I'm also looking for the solution.

you must be taken to anchor your private key (s) as everybody is helpless against hacking. Try not to spare your private key(s) in any email account. Try not to tap on any suspicious mail in your inbox.

I think that the full security is  available  through using hardware wallet, such as trazor. I believe it is the best hardware wallet.  You can also store your alts on exchanges that have 2FA.
