Payout got FUBAR'd this morning.  Never was sent and now my balance shows 0.

Please look into this and get me meh coins  Grin
JWU42, I've sent you a PM explaining things.

For other people that may experience these symptoms:

Due to slowness of our payout bitcoind you were viewing incorrect feedback. Funds-reservation causes your balance to display 0 during processing, so there is currently a delay before your transaction show up in the overview.

All transactions were processed correctly.

MC

Confirmed that payment was received - thanks for the PM response!

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Can abcpool have a hard limit on the number of bitcoins held for a particular account?

For example, if an account gets to 10 BTC in 2 hours, your current infrastructure will let the balance continue to grow. In this case, once an account reaches the  threshold, it would be auto paid out and everything reset.

Thanks,

It appears that ABCPool is hosted in us-east-1 of EC2.

The datacenter's power went out as a result of nearby storms in the Virginia area. Fortunately, I don't trust us-east-1 enough to host anything there. Tongue

UPDATE

As already noticed by some of you, ABCPool experiences some downtime due to power issues at Amazon: http://status.aws.amazon.com/

Although we have almost everything up & running at the moment, Amazon still experiences problems with their ELBs, and so do we. At the moment we are working on a temporary bypass for the loadbalancer. We expect ABCPool to be up soon again.

Thank you for your patience.

ABCPool is partly back online. At this moment it *is* possible to mine again. It is *not* yet possible to do any payouts. We expect the payouts to be re-enabled in the next couple of hours.

Really hoping that all the shares/stats are being captured as I'm mining again but the site does not register any mhash...

I'm sure its just one of the things that still need to be fixed and that all info is being capture.

But you know... that "worse case senario thought" always finds a way to pop into your head ey Sad

For the last hour, payments have been offline while we did some wallet maintenance. Payments are now enabled again.

Several of you noticed experienced disconnections from ABCPool in the recent period (aside from the Amazon power failure of course..). During the past few days further maintenance was performed to alleviate this. Maintenance is still ongoing in order to get ABCPool stability back to the levels you were used to. Nevertheless you should already notice significant improvements now!

Happy hashing,
MC

Same question.   Mine has not updated.   Also, can we keep the old method of seeing the updated progress, or have a button we can get the current miner average and btc total?  It helps me easier monitor the farm.

Trying to request a manual payout and getting the error that the destination address is not a valid bitcoin address.

This is the same address that I have been receiving payments from abcpool successfully for months, so nothing has changed. Is there some issue with payouts at the moment?

Payments were offline for an hour or so while we upgraded the payment bitcoind. Sorry for the inconvenience.
