Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

In case of anyone doesn't watch marketing thread..

I am preparing the Press release about Nxt clients.. What do you think?
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BwAGADgnQcrta3ZFUlBhQ0dtaEU/edit
(texts created by Damelon and edited by me and EvilDave)

Hey salsacz - please let us include something about the nxtFreeRider! It is not in a very usable state yet, but that may change quite soon.

I think it is important to include it, because it is a valuable complement to the other clients: It is a powertool for developers and powerusers, with focus on the AE!

Wait a bit pls, I'll get you a screenshot of the api access window!!

BTW - where is the marketing thread? I am sort of drowning in threads here ...

Has anyone stepped forward for doing the OS X Nxt taskbar? I could cobble something together but it would take me a little while... there have been changes in Xcode, JSON etc I have to wrap my head around. That, and I'm strictly a hobbyist coder.

I'm off today and tomorrow so it would be a fun project.

Right now, no one else does. Wesley's client might get something like this included, but it is not sure yet and it doesn't feel the same if it isn't developed exclusively and only as a task bar helper!

If you have the time and the desire - please go ahead Smiley

www.nxt.org would look very nice on that press release.

Edit: How many e-mails could we get with nxt.org?....for example marketing@nxt.org, support@nxt.org etc....I know it sounds a bit centralized.

What's causing this? Can this be ignored?

So no one knows what causes this or that it has any negative effect?

It keeps on going:
