 Will nxt beat btc? Really want to see the nxt generation coin win the crypto-coin war.  If Bitcoin is Myspace, then Nxt is Facebook and Ethereum is Google+ typo here, ethereum is facebook and nxt is myspace. thats what mxtminnow said on cryptosummit he is allowed to have his own opinion but jean-luc said nxt is like star trek. and CfB posted that Nxt is vkontakte now who is right? so many opinions ?! |

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

[/quote] yes, that's true. my client was planned for feb but i couldn't hold the date. i can assure you i am the first one here not happy with this but it makes no sense to complain. fortunatly there are many very good clients out now and i simple continue to built my version and using the time to add some additional features step by step and improve the blockexplorer. |

to prefill nxt-datahub with historical data i think bitcoincharts could be a good source. http://bitcoincharts.com/and for the status and quality monitor plugin: http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/statusi have to mail them for usage permission and the exchanges for the minimum poll frequency to ensure a smooth dataflow. any other possible sources are welcome. thx Those are bitcoin charts, not nxt charts. There aren't historical nxt charts available as far as i know. yes, that's correct but i like to aggregate all cryptos. for nxt it would be also interesting to display e.g. correlations between nxt and others and a quoteboard has to display not only nxt to attract other coin users ;-) |

Eisghtspaces, Salsacz has received donations totaling over 1M from original NXT stakeholders, primarily neer.g and Come-from-Beyond. This was to be used for initial NXT marketing efforts, including salary to Salsa for his efforts in this regard. I constantly say good things about NXT on the forums. I invested a lot of the money I could afford and would invest more. It has gone down but I am still as excited as ever. The new asset exchange, the project James is working on, and NXT mining have me really excited. Each is a HUGE breakthrough in its own right. |

P.S. Things seem so different now, with this thread turning into a donkey show. Takes a lot more work for me to keep up on the other forum, so I usually dont.
tis sad how a thirty million dollar project that may reach billions of $ was treated with such seriousness, enthusiasm and discussion is now nothing but sucking a troll's dick... last FIFTY pages have had nothing but conversations and jokes about emule he was successful on derailing a thread/project why the hell do u guys all call him 'Emule' ? its just an alt account of pinarello, he admitted it ealier 'Emule' = pinarello where did he admit it? have u not seen it? its in the dutch forums please give me a quote (though I cannot read dutch) |

looks good, perhaps BitShares-PTS instead peercoin or doge ? (because ltc and doge sharing the same technology?) not sure, what others thinking? Counterparty XCP Edit - mastercoins and Counterparty do not have their own blockchains and have to piggyback Bitcoin for a free ride. And bitcoin is not happy about it. this is completely lulz to me - BTC doesnt like it bc they are still in inflation phase, where miers arent mining for fees. NXt loves transactions! |

collected all api-enabled exchanges exist so far. 17 new exchanges added, so it's 41 in total. complete list: http://www.nxtexplorer.com/download/exchange-list.txtwriting the api fetchers for those exchanges now and building the db-backend with a fast json client api on top of that. as soon the data flows in, some unique plugins could be built bounded to the nxt-client. if well done, they could not only usefull for the nxt community but also attract other coiners and lead them into nxt-space. the data is also good to add them into blockexplorer, (marketdata, e.g. performance comparision nxt/other coin), double benefit. |
