Forgive me for my lack of knowledge in this aspect, but does a 60 second block time mean 60 second transactions now instead of 40? Or no?

I'm a bit clueless here.

How to update client? Should I back up the wallet first? After backing up a wallet, how do I load it up again?

What is going to happen to the pools? Are they going to go offline for a bit to update?

Thanks

Transactions were never 40 seconds to begin with because of the multipools. Block times were ranging anywhere from 3 seconds to 10 minutes. With this newest change, they should be fairly consistent around 60 seconds.

I'm a bit clueless here.

No need to backup the wallet. Just delete your old stablecoin-qt.exe and use the new one.

Pools will have 2 weeks to update.

ok, trying to mine SBC right now and need some help with mining...posted in the mining forum but no replies:

Quote
I had a mining rig with a 7850 in it, now I added a R9 290, I have different settings for each card... what is the best way to get this to work in cgminer

can I do -d 0 then 1st card settings then -d 1 2nd card settings

or

2 seperate bat files and run 2 instances of cgminer at once?

I am running them both with somewhat default settings in cgminer, but obv I want to tweak each one for max performance

thanks in advance

No need to backup the wallet. Just delete your old stablecoin-qt.exe and use the new one.

Can someone verify this works fine even for encrypted wallet?

Thanks,

I am just going through this cautiously because I've never done it before and wouldn't like to lose any coins in the process

Write as many exchanges as you can and request that they add the coin.

xrptalk.org :: setup a wallet + trade all currencies :: gateway reviews @ coinist.co :: deposit to buy xrp @ snapswap [now supporting PayPal withdrawls + instant ACH transfer deposits]
CrossCoin Ventures startup accelerator - offering XRP funding up to $50,000 USD equivalent

I am trying to make a sbc forum (Not the biggest task in the world), however will take me some days.
Anyone have any thoughts on features they want?

That's brilliant AnonX, it's a great initiative, one thing in common with all successful coins is a strong community. once the sbctalk forum is up i guess artos can link it to the main site.

I guess any of the popular free bb engines should do the trick, maybe something with mobile support as a lot of ppl are on mobile these days so that's always an added plus.

Chinese language support would also be a good benefit since we are growing there at a good pace, so having the chinese community within the same forum would be important.

A very groovy idea (whoops, I guess I just showed my age).  I have been wishing there was a forum for various topics related to mining SBC and with coverage on the coin itself.

A sticky with instructions for mining, a sticky with a list of pools, a sticky for Artos and the other pro's to distribute additional info on the coin and any problems or changes.

Truly a great idea

Don't know what you did, but the pool is not working for shit.  I have changed nothing in my scrypt or in my bat file, but I am getting an endless stream of "Found block for pool 0!" but NO "Accepted."

ONe thing I find intolerable is to have my computer crunching numbers uselessly.  Fix it!!!!!

Damn!  Coinbase.org pool is also non-functional.  You pool operators need to get your stuff together.  This is BS.

If it's a DDOS, then get some protected servers or something, but stop wasting my time.

STABLECOIN OFFICIAL FORUMS

http://forums.stablecoin.net

There have been a lot of requests for a forum flowing it, so I'm more than happy to deliver. It is extremely barebones right now - sporting a default theme and only one subforum. I'll have it fully set up within the next 24-48 hours. Feel free to reserve your username on there until then, or use it as it is Wink

The forum needs to be more polished for sure, but I'm sure it'll get to the point where we can use it properly Smiley I'm also interested in seeing the forum that the other member is working on.
