http://www.businessinsider.com/dogecoin-just-solved-a-problem-bitcoin-will-face-2014-2

From the article:

"A fixed supply that can't respond to demand is a bad thing. Money, like every commodity, works best when the supply can adjust efficiently to the demand. (The people who don't like this are primarily people who want to make other people act against their own interests just so that they personally can make a large profit by not doing anything but holding money.)"

Yep, agree with the quote. Having a fixed supply doesn't promote spending but leads to hoarding in the hope that the price will rise which defeats the whole purpose of a cryptocurrency being used as a payment system. Removing the cap will encourage spending thus increasing money velocity.

yep ... Sad

Bye bye my moon  Cry .. in this case, dogecoin will never reach 1 cent Huh

I never said that dogecoin wouldn't reach 1 cent. I'm actually very positive that we will see that figure this year. Don't forget the "demand" aspect when trying to estimate a price!

It will be the most incredible thing for the early believers like me !!!  Cool

I think you will be amazed at how fast it will grow, once we get over that border to 1 cent, i think things will skyrocket from there making 1 dollar (i prefer 1 euro) possible BEFORE 2017

in my imagination this coin would be the one everyone would use as their pocket-money - to purchase daily items like groceries, snacks, tips, taxi etc. etc. - so a value of around 1 dollar would be an ideal level..

Indeed! If cryptocurrency continues on its current path I think that we will see $1 dogecoin by 2016. Faster your seatbelts, this is going to be a wild ride.  Cool

A dollar is worth around a dollar, and people use that to purchase far more than snacks and taxi fares.

I couldn't agree with all of you more and Doge is the reason that CryptoAlley was built and isn't going away.  It gives everyone the chance to sell/buy/trade in Dogecoin or whatever other coin they want.  A crypto coin only has real value when it is used to purchase goods and services.  CryptoAlley gives this literally to the world. Everything that eBay had when they started, CryptoAlley has that and more.  There are upgrades to the service mapped out for over 6 months.

And here's the great part, you don't even need a wallet or coins to start selling.  Sign up, create an account at Coinpayments, choose your coins and start selling.  You can have them hold In Balance your proceeds or send them straight to an exchange.  CryptoAlley has some going to wallets, some to Cryptsy, and some going to Vircurex.

There are no fees right now while we get going so you have nothing to loose by trying it out and spreading the word.  There have already been items sold and shipped as far as Scotland. This isn't an off the cuff project, there has been almost 2 solid months of development and out of pocket cash to get CryptoAlley set up.  Let's say CryptoAlley is the white marketplace of the crypto world.

Coins for goods and services is what will make crypto successful.  Think about it.

Dogehouse down?

So is fast-pool, try http://doge.netcodepool.org and compare your earnings to these two shady pools. Im sure you'll notice a difference. Actually these guys manually "edit" the no. of coins in a block, thereby earning the already fee + around 5% from the "so-called-orphans-or-low-paying-blocks"

More proof here: http://www.reddit.com/r/dogemining/comments/1x1p76/something_is_rotten_in_the_state_of_doge_mining/

Rest assured, Netcodepool is in mining business since 2012, 70000 Litecoins have been mined till date, we never do these kind of cheap attempts to earn more. Therefore, hold a record for not loosing a user's single coin, ever.

fast pool and netcode pool are both good

How is it in mining business since 2012 with a domain registered in April 2013?

because we started with domain name netcodeilluminati.com during late 2012 before we switched to netcodepool.org in April 2013

OK. After this i can say only one thing:

I will never use netcodepool.org because he is liar.

Competition between pools is good but not with spreading FUD. You just fire in your foot.  Huh

That thread was started by an observant user, not us. We are surprised and actually weren't aware about this "stealing" that's going on in open in top pools. (We are known for not loosing a user's single coin since we started with Litecoin in 2012)

He's got a MAJOR point, he did all the maths, go read his complete OP you will know what he's trying to say.

yeah I don't know man I get 3-5000 on fast pool in 24 hours, i tried netcodepool and got 250 in 6 hours. shady or not they don't screw me like that.

For this to apply you need to mine atleast 24 hours on http://netcodepool.org before coming to any conclusion because pools with lower hashes find blocks slower but their payouts are bigger.

The pool your refer to has more hashes thus they find blocks faster BUT with smaller regular payouts to your account.

Go on... Im ready for round 2 Smiley

Throw me all questions you got guys, I'll be happy to answer.

There's a reason DOGECOIN founder, Jackson Palmer trusts netcodepool (see top post).

There's a reason netcodepool (and not biggie pools like dogehouse, fastpool or multipool) is the moderator of the official sub-reddit of dogecoin, /r/dogecoin.

I'm pretty positive that when the athletes that we funded are up, the commentators will be mentioning their past history and on to their present and how they got funded by the Dogecoin community.

We will get some sort of media coverage come the Olympics. To what extent? We'll have to wait and see.

I read whole thread before you post it, so i know what is there.

But the OP doesnt say that dogehouse or fast-pool are shady pools, manually "edit" no. of coins etc.
That was you, who say that. And if you still insist on your claim than you can add pool.dogechain.info too. Really?!?

BTW, that reddit post is about another problem.  Huh
