can't wait! on a side note, some people were arguing that the Z9 mini was an FPGA?! i don't know any better and will depend a lot on you guys for support when i get my FPGAs... however, someone did crack open a Z9 mini. Does the hardware resemble anything close to FPGAs? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4534369.0

It's probably a mix of fpga and asic

I've ordered a board from mineority and paid for it but I never got a receipt back. I've tried to contact them to confirm that they received the order but it's been a week without an answer. Do they respond to support tickets?

The coinpayments confirmation is your receipt; if you successfully paid with coinpayments, then yes, we have received your order. Once your device is shipping, we'll be sending you out an email. We do respond to support stickets, but all of us have been away from keyboard working on a NEW SEKRET PROJECT - so, we're a little behind schedule. For your ticket, I see that we have replied.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry to pester you but I haven't used coinpayments before and I was wondering whether there was a glitch in the ordering system. BTW, I can't find a reply in my mbox and I also checked my junk folder. There might have been a glitch. Good luck in your project.

I'm still a bit miffed about the VAT treatment of the orders... While I agree that the hosting fee is subject to VAT for EU clients (under the law on sale of electronic services), I disagree with fpga.land (and/or mineority.io) charging VAT at source for the fpga units... with the argumentation that I would take delivery of the item some time in the future.
If I have the fpga hosted by mineority, the item never leaves US territory and hence isn't VATable in my understanding. VAT should only be paid if and when the item is shipped to the EU. VAT should then be paid on the value of the item at the time of entry.
If I walk into a WalMart when I'm on holiday in the US, I am not charged VAT on my purchases. If I go to Amazon.com (US), buy a fan and send it to my friend to use in his house, I am not paying VAT on that transaction.
If I go to fpga.land, buy an fpga and have it sent&hosted at mineority, I should not be charged VAT.
