Does anyone know a method of using Bter without creating several support tickets and ripping out half your hair everytime you want to send some funds?

absolutely gorgeous web wallet, but is there also a way to simply import a private key and don't sweep?
That is not possible. May I ask why you'd prefer that method ? for example i could have chancecoin on that address as well or i just don't want to pay the transaction fees that occur when sweeping?

You can select which assets you want to sweep (btc or xcp or both) guess that other counterparty assets will show there as well. Should not affect your chancecoin as that is linked to your btc-address, you will keep access to the address, obly btc/xcp will be transferred.

ok i did that, still, don't know why it shouldn't be possible to simply import a private key, is there a reason? also i haven't found the export functionality as well, is there one?

No private data at all is stored on the Counterwallet servers. Except Your 12-word passphrase can be used to access your Counterwallet account and easily send funds to anyone, anywhere, if not secured properly. Secure your passphrase please. EDIT: Corrected to encouraging everyone to secure your passphrase. Phantom is correct. All crypto and security takes place in the browser not on the server.

Does anyone know a method of using Bter without creating several support tickets and ripping out half your hair everytime you want to send some funds? Solution is Poloniex :/ While XCP and Poloniex have a history together Busoni has, until this very day, always stepped up and showed he got hair on his chest. While BTER is one of the better alt exchanges (I much appreciated BTER pro-actively crediting BTS to people holding PTS on the exchange) I'd pick Poloniex for trading XCP. Or HODL

No.[/b] Your passphrase is never sent to Counterwallet servers.
As an experiment I will be dumping my Blockchain info wallet and will be using Counterwallet for all my day to day Bitcoin transactions.

Why do I need to prime an account and how does it work? I have some BTC in one of my addresses, but it seems it´s not enough. How much do I need? Do I need to prime an account to use the exchange?

When you sweep, the address From Which you are sweeping must have a 'confirmed' balance of at least 0.0005 but I would do 0.001 just to be sure.

I had more on that account, but the account I am having the XCPs on now is not prime-d. What is this prime thing? How can I prime an account? TL;DR Priming is the process where you send to yourself, small amounts of Bitcoin. This helps to make faster XCP transactions (without waiting for change). For every XCP transaction, you need to pay Bitcoin miner fees. This is typically 0.0005 BTC. For example if you have 1.0005 BTC in your account. 1 BTC will be sent back to you, while 0.0005 will be paid as miner fees. However, you might need to wait for the 1 BTC to return back to your account (1 confirmation). To avoid this priming is used, where you send small amounts of BTC to yourself (0.0005 etc...), this will ensure that you have small change ready for miner fees and do not need to wait for change to return back to you.
