** WARNING ** AT LEAST SKIM THIS BEFORE DOWNLOAD / FIRING:

- we have seen the disconnects.  I have experienced them personally:

I see the players complaining about this, and you guys are correct - it's too frequent - the team has re-focussed onto this issue.

understand we don't have the underlying issue fixed yet, but we have a "band-aid"

So this version, when disconnected briefly, will not kick you out and make you log in again.  Note that I want to be very clear and up front that we have NOT solved the underlying issue yet.  I know that is non-standard and most businesses would tell you "it's all good, we're playing great" but that seems dishonest to me, and with that disclaimer please take this "nodcdetect" version of the SwC PC client:

Please also report any issues you have with this version.  The boys are working on it:

https://sealswithclubs.eu/pcclient/swc_client-win%20v0.2.14-nodcdetect.zip

Hi

I like the 4k increase in chips. Can you guys please add some more tourneys with deepstacks players would really like to see this in more tournaments. The current 1500 strutctures make the games really less of a skill factor and more of a turbo bingo fest. I hope you can add a few more of the deepstacks please. Thanks.

tyvm for feedback.  We are certainly listening, and in response to the call for "higher buy in deep-aments" we dropped the nightly 10pm ET / 7pm PT 6k gaur "deep6" 600 chip buyin with 3k starting and 12 minute levels.   We have seen a nice response to this MTT and will be looking to make more 3000 chip MTTs, although I think 3k starting / 10 minute levels is plenty for ~100 chip MTTs.  We are actively thinking about and refining the schedule.  Should see it stabilize over the next few weeks as we make small adjustments to get it tight.

I think 3000 starting stacks and 10 minute levels would be great for 100 buy-in and up tournaments, at least some of them.

Almost all of my play has been at ring games since I joined.  But recently I've played a few tournaments for variety or when there aren't ring games going.

I don't want to complain because I love the site, I love the improvements, and I'm excited to see the new updates to the client.  But I have to agree that the 1500 structures really don't allow for much play.

I wouldn't want to make them slow and have them last forever but I do think they need a few more chips in play.  The 1500 structure would work for tournaments with hundreds of players where enough people bust out early and increase the average stack before the blinds get too high.  But for tournaments with 10 to 30 players it just doesn't seem like enough.

I think even increasing to 2000 stacks with 8 minute blinds would be an improvement.

Got a weird bug today with the new client.  Hand #11327235-473 I posted the BB but was dealt no cards.  I did not think to go options > refresh table, but if it ever happens again I will try that.  The hand history did not get saved, I had to pull the number out of the chat.  It may be because a waitlisted table opened at the same time the hand was dealt?

Is it possible to have some more tables that are always open? Every session I have to open the 5-10 10-20 25-50 50-100 6maxtables. Would love to see them open anyway. People often prefer 6max anyway.

Just curious, why the preference for 6max over 9max?

9max is boring, you can hardly play a hand. I like anything between 2-6.

gotcha, thanks for the feedback.  I guess that's why I multi table 9max, so that it keeps up the pace.

In the above situation, I should say I was dealt no cards when I posted the BB, but I still had the action stop on me.

There are definitely issues with the nodc client. Later in the session I had a real disconnect, and had to force close the client.  When I logged back in, the tables came back showing my hole cards from prior hands.

I rolled back to the regular client, because during a real disconnect I can log back in fast enough to continue my hands, and I only got them every few hours.

today and every Sunday...

BIG BTC
time: 6pm ET / 3pm PT
buy in: 950+50 [1 bitcoin]
guarantee: 40k [40 bitcoin]

DON'T GET SHUT OUT | NO LATE REG

In the above situation, I should say I was dealt no cards when I posted the BB, but I still had the action stop on me.

I have seen this issue happen to me before, but not in a very long time.  It's a known display issue where according to our system you rec'd cards, the hand was fine, but you couldn't see your hole cards (which I know is extremely annoying and obviously a loss of equity - please email us and we can offer you some small compensation, such as a free FFF code, similar to these: FFF-T5F9ST36AA | FFF-5!T4STS69T | FFF-T9S6ASA453 )

thanks for playing SwC
