My timezone prevents me from participating. It's early morning for me when your BIG BTC happens.

And how do I "parlay" the 2 chips? I did read about using the #bet bot to help me stake an entry into the costlier tournaments. According to a member there, he said that you are "backed" when you do that, as someone paid for your buy-in.

Well, I'm still a fish. The only reason I won in that freeroll tourney is because everyone was killing everyone else by doing all-ins all the time and I wouldn't bite.

Servers are in no way compromised.  Jenger's story is quite sad, but it's also quite clear that it's a case of poor personal computer security and bad password practices.

Please champbronc2 -  this type of mis-info is quite damaging to us at this young stage of our project.

This totally sucks.  I watched you dominate the FT and posted your name in 50pt purple letters in the BIG BTC weekly winner thread.  I feel terrible that the coins stolen originated from an SwC win, but it is pretty clear to me that someone accessed your email, changed your blockchain pass, and emptied that wallet.  Obviously not SwC's fault, as our servers were never compromised.

looking back, I learned a quite inexpensive lesson getting scammed for $8k when I was 26 yrs old in 2007ish.  The guy is in FBI custody now: http://www.donkdown.com/justin-wade-smith-goes-down-hard/

I wish swc could take an active role in some of these cases. Wouldn't be too hard to see were chips were transferred to and give them back to jenger. I realize site doesn't want to do this but mitigating circumstances warrant mitigating interference. Not trying to cause headaches for the site but would be great if would get involved maybe put it to a vote and see what other players have to say. Just really brutal to battle and win big btc and have funds stolen. I don't believe that servers were compromised either just an unfortunate situation.

Obv would only work if player who stole from jenger deposited in seals account name .

Jenger's unfortunate story is about waking up to an email stating his blockchain.info wallet pass was changed, not SwC chips transfered.

furthermore I keep my personal digital door open for additional info as some of you know I'm extremely anti-scammer.  micon@[replacewithourdomainforbitcoinpoker].eu

also I have recently rejuvenated the DonkDown forums if for nothing more than for you to leave me cases to investigate on SwC:

http://www.donkdown.com/forum/sealswithclubs-bitcoin-poker-room-f72.html

the thread "things for Micon to investigate" I have subscribed and drop-ships me an email when someone posts there.

I haz some g00t news:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/57/poker-legislation-forum-brought-you-ppa/full-tilt-claims-administrator-claims-submission-beginning-sept-16th-1358109/

FTP might give me back some of my funds, someday.
Looks like the legalese wheels r rollin'.
If and when that occurs, and it gets sent to me,
and if there's still a Seals [I hope!]
a chunk of that will end up on Seals.
[600-1200$ ain't gonna do a helluva lot 4 me live]
You'll all get 2 c THE ROLL THAT DRAW BUILT.

I would luv it if Seals had enuf influence to twist Mt. Gox's arm really hard,
[they've owed me a 300$+ cashout, almost 4 weeks now]
but I'm willing to be realistic. Grin
I have other plans 4 the Mt. Gox funds [tools, bike parts, all adds up...]

@x, micon, FreeMoney. Is there an API for the client or something? I'd like to access my hole cards as I play, and feed it to some home made software of mine to analyze what I'm holding. Windows here.

I have money on gox also. They will not let you cash out? I know you have to send them documents and all that , did you do that and still have problems? Why don't you cashout to seals and then another wallet?

We don't offer an API like that. However, theoretically you could make it work, the info does come to you.

Done that a lot[thru Coinbase, successfully!].
I got greedy, wanted the extra 15$/BTC in cash,

To give you some more info..

Probably there are 3 ways to do it:
- Almost all trackers use handhistory to see the hands. This is by far the easiest way but obviously I assume this is only AFTER the hand. So only useful for stats or something like that.
- In theory I think you could make a program that recognizes the cards on the screen.
- The traffic between the client and server is (imo) pretty easy. You could use Wireshark to check this out. Then u could make like a packet sniffer, I am pretty sure most languages have a library or something for that. This way you can look for the hole card information. Or you could make your own client like 'bet' of ender and use that to play and analyze, but that would be a bit more work :p

GL. And remember that programs that "give advice" or something are generally not allowed on all poker rooms. I am not sure what rules seals exactly has about it, but be sure to follow good poker ethics Wink
