I have tried SwC and it worked pretty well.  The game software works fine but it's not a polished product.  The major problem with SwC is there are not enough players online with the site struggling to fill 2 Hold'em tables most of the time.  If you find a table where players are abusing each other (not uncommon) it's impossible to move as all the other tables are empty.  Player quality is about average for online poker, with most playing extremely tight.

Many think the real players are getting sucked dry from in house player accounts hence the reason people not coming back and bleeding out slowly. Of course we cannot prove such allegations but many similar stories coming forward after speaking with seasoned poker pros. Hard to tell especially if one don't spend the time to see what they was dealt by the chain and even then how do you differentiate a honest bluff with a "I know I got you beat with higher 6 kicker etc." I have to agree not looking good but another poker site is getting ready to make a huge splash soon enough which should at least make the field competitive which is clearly good for real bitcoin players.

Sometimes I see misinformation about SwC as posted above.  IMO it's always best to relate SwC issues with relevant facts, links, and screenshots.

First off Cluster2k you are completely correct that our software works fine but is not a polished product.  That is something our team is working extremely hard on as we speak - to polish our clients and improve our server-side software.  Criticism well accepted on your first point.

your second point of "strugling to fill 2 hold'em tables" is not founded on facts.  here is the current screenshot of games from 10/10/2013 at 11:30am Las Vegas time:

18 cash games running, 9 Hold'em tables running with 5+ players.  Cluster2k - it is possible you checked in the middle of the night USA time, as ~4am-9am Vegas time has traditionally been our slowest times, but even then there are usuall 6 tables running.  Pokerscout is a very easy measure of how many players to expect at what times:  http://www.pokerscout.com/SiteDetail.aspx?site=SealswithClubs&ab=2125562

Many think the real players are getting sucked dry from in house player accounts hence the reason people not coming back and bleeding out slowly. Of course we cannot prove such allegations but many similar stories coming forward after speaking with seasoned poker pros.

aksplace,  these comments seem to lack any backing whatsoever.  I assume you have identified "house player accounts" to make such a statement, so I would encourage you to list them.  If such egregious cheating were taking place on SwC I feel all players should know about the usernames as early as possible.  Further more, you say you have spoke to "seasoned poker pros" and have "many similar stories coming forward"  please show me any links to this information.

As always, anyone can contact me for any reason ---> micon@sealswithclubs.eu

I work hard with our team to ensure the safety and security of our site.  Unfounded rumors can spread, so I feel it's important to shut them down immediately.  Real threats to site security are top priority.

I implore seals to add more grindabit triple deuce type tournaments . Structure is awesome. Lets make the Saturday a 3k starting chip with same  structure as afeormentioned. It is really a shove fest when its down to 2 tables in the Saturday. Lets put the skill back please.

Site is becoming a botters paradise apparently. I open 5 tables at a time and its amazing how many brand new accounts on a daily basis buy in for one fifth in ring games. I open a table and immediately 2 or 3 brand new players sit down with one fifth buyins pretty obvious.

Bot or not, that short stack strategy is only profitable if you are the only one (or maybe one of two) players at a full table doing it, because it relies on you being all-in early with the hopes that big stacks play against each other badly.

However, it's no fun to play against that kind of shit, if it is going on, whether or not it's bots or just real people deliberately playing maggot stacks.

One solution would be to have fixed buyin tables.  Another would be either invite-only or friends-only tables, and get together a guild of all the real, established players.  New accounts not allowed.

LOL@Maggot stacks first time Ive heard that terminology, awesome. Yes raising min amounts or having tables available with at least 25chips for a 50 chip buyin as an example would solve the problem of one fifth buyins. With regard to bots its pretty suspicious when 3 players with new screen names  all sit at once with 10 chip buyins at a 50chip buyin table. I am sure players at higher limits would like the option of being able to create higher buyin minimum tables as well.

1)  ♣ ♣ ♣ Saturday 10k guar 6pm ET ♣ ♣ ♣ only 95+5 buy in ♣ ♣ ♣  #OverlayAlert #NoLateReg

2)  if anyone suspects botting or colluding, please immediately list usernames and email admin.  I take a realistic viewpoint to online poker and understand that our long term, honest players are very frequently the first line of defense vs. colluders.   IMO the site is most effective at policing the games with the help of players - please post anything you feel the community should know about as soon as you see it.

I don't have any bots and haven't looked into botting, but just curious, is botting not allowed?  What's the difference between programming a bot and executing on a bot strategy... if it was failsafe, then wouldn't everyone do it?  So I assume "botting" would be just as effective as "playing," yes?

I agree that Micon is very helpful if a player has problems and in my case has helped me out a couple of times when I emailed him or freemoney on bitcoin talk. Next time I open up tables I will take down names of the 10 chip players that arrive in 2 or 3 at the same time. The only problem with that is they change names the next days and its always different names but I will start taking names and emailing them to admin. Pretty unlikely 2 or 3 players sit down at one time with 10 chips that aren't in fact bots.

I have gotten around it by clicking start and selecting sitout next blind so if a 10 chip new player sits down I will close that table and create a new one.

Hey Micon. Look there is a lil drama regarding this in chat all day today. So, IMO i'd just like for seals to identify the members for this 'swamp mob' as they did exist, and this email was just a prank they say.

Just check HH and play history between them all and one way or the other this will be put to rest IMO. The beauty of online poker is that ever hand ever played is recorded and tracking down collusion tho tedious is fairly easy to flag.

Once a conclusion is made, a post here, reddit (as it's made a splash there too), and annoucement on gab, or seals chat should be enough.

TY for seals and donkdown radio, both have become a big part or my day and week. GL allz and HMU for trades, I'm Cookies!!!
