I sent in a request to Seals for a 1.000 BTC withdrawal on 12/23 and it hasn't gone through yet. It is sitting in the "pending queue." Should I cancel it and retry?

Quote
Last week, someone posted 42,020 passwords from poker site SealsWithClubs to a forum frequented by hackers.
The passwords were in encrypted format...Unfortunately for SealsWithClubs users, the site was using the obsolete SH1 hash function to encrypt passwords.
Consequently, they were very easy to crack, and hackers quickly decrypted many of them.

Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation to everyone.
it has lots of buttery taste..

No Salting?

Yet on your website "Announcement" you claim it was salted?

Also - you blame your DC? Are you joking me?

Just making sure ST6 is aware of this:

http://pastebin.com/hzxEPkQ8

Also, password security can be improved by just using like the 100th round sha1 hash.  Bam now it's 100x more difficult to dictionary/brute force passwords.  Sha1 is a fine alg, it's just "fast" to compute, so you want to make it take more time for a brute force attack, by doing multiple iterations of it.

One claim something, the other claim the opposite. Just two claims, which one is true?
Have we heard anyone had lost any chips?

Hi guys.

1)  AMA on Reddit about the hack:  http://www.reddit.com/r/SealsWithClubs/comments/1ttkb3/chairman_bryan_micon_here_with_seal_team_6_on_the/

2)  spike420211 - I didn't delete any posts here or reddit or anywhere else  say what you gotta say.  Pastebin / PM me / email me at your leisure.

3)  As I understand it the PW table was salted but not hashed hard enough.  Read AMA / ask Dr. Huh for technical questions that have not been answered yet

Read the AMA, some interesting stuff in there.  Micon did pretty much duck the question regarding reducing the krill freerolls.

I don't care who has my password as it has been changed and wasn't used anywhere else.  My account was untouched.  If accounts were compromised those people wouldn't be silent yet I hear nothing.

Same, I only heard of one person who had account compromised may have been more but only one documented on grindabit and they got monies back in full. Didn't hear of any other people in 2 plus 2 thread losing money seals has really good track record with regard to customer service issues. Looking forward to the new software in 2014.

One request is to make the 500 chip Saturday and 1k sunday  a deepstack with sat type structure as the structure is really poor in sat and sunday 500 and 1k tournaments.

I am new to this site.  I have a few questions:

1) is it safe to play on seals with clubs

2) how many people are on this site

3) any disconnect problems lately?

4) did this site get hacked recently?

I am new to this site.  I have a few questions:

1) I feel it's as safe as any site out there.

2) Not many, most I've seen is 500 or so at a time, give or take.

3) They seem to be better lately, but still happen occasionally.  Your results may vary.

4) https://pay.reddit.com/r/SealsWithClubs/comments/1ttkb3/chairman_bryan_micon_here_with_seal_team_6_on_the/

That's just one link, look around and read some more on the recent issues.

Still my #1 site for bitcoin poker.  Although I have to admit I haven't really checked out the competition and I'm a shitty small time player.  I was kinda butthurt when then changed the krill freeroll requirements and didn't grandfather in the old ppl (my 700 krill is now pretty useless, and goodluck getting to 1.25K with bitcoin prices as they are).

Dudes, can I have some free krill just cos you love me?

*** News & Notes ***

1)  old guarantee levels are still in place.  TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT WHILE YOU CAN

2)  SwC is the largest bitcoin poker site, we all know that.  It is important to also remember we are the most trusted as well, having built our reputation over the last 2+ years.  We can expect many more poker sites to accept bitcoin in 2014.  Some will be fly-by-night operations, others will have money and effort backing them.  It is our goal to keep offering the best environment to play btc online poker.  I personally thank you for all of the support over the years. When something new and shiny comes along, it's best to investigate it.  I'm very happy to close 2013 as the only legitimate choice for bitcoin poker.  I don't think there will be another year without a legitimate competitor, but we will keep improving and defending what we have built.

Thanks again.

Onward into this new technology.
