What the hell are you talking about?

when calculating the rake on SwC you must make player-positive equity adjustments for:

-- 50% tablestarter rakeback 2 or 3 handed
-- Krill-based Rakeback
-- Free coins in Krill-rolls
-- Frequent MTT overlays

And likely others I am forgetting about.  The first 2 drastically reduce rake for active cash players.  Also I think it's worth noting we have lowered the rake multiple times this year.

Other rooms charging 3$ or less, on top of rakeback and bonuses, so yeah...

If youre so seriously baller that you are paying three dollar rake at stars (that's 2kNL BTW) then you would not be complaining about rake lol.

At 10nl (or btc eqv) you pay $1.50 at stars or $0.30 at seals.
25nl   $2 stars. 75¢ seals.

And like micon said.  Play short handed with rake back?  Pay less than half that.

But yeah...  Since you pay $3vs4 at seals then you must feel that dollar difference up at 2000nl when you rake those $5k pots.

Micon has to be nice.  I dont.

You're full of shit.  I'm all in.

nl200 stars = 2.8$ in rake cap.
nl200 SWC ~ 4.2$ in rake cap.

and stars have a vip program that gives decent rewards. To get any with SWC you have to rake for a gazzilion.

Could it be that this comes about due to the rise in the valuation of of the "raked" unit?

The unit at STARS is a fixed monetary unit.  While the unit at SWC is in constant flux in relation to the same fixed monetary units.

FYI the BIG BTC, which is running now, had 56 players show up for it today!

~8 coins FTW / 26.6 coin prizepool

HUGE IMO

Got disconnected twice in the first ~40 minutes which is pretty ridiculous.  That tourney cost too much money for me to justify playing under those conditions.

I just had a disconnect and couldn't log in for more than 5 minutes. Sad

I have had repeated disconnects the last 24 hours, sometimes lasting as long as 15 minutes, where I couldn't reconnect.

It's hard to justify a $400 buyin tournament if the site is consistently this unreliable.

Were getting closer to reasonable numbers now.  But even at these stakes many, if not most pots will be cheaper than at stars.  When stacks go in the middle seals costs a buck fourty more.  At this stake.  But this is waaaay different than "highest rake in the industry".

Also when the current rake was instituted 5chips was around $2.

The reason I am on this so hard is SWC has had the LOWEST rake in the industry for 2 years.  Not until the last WEEK have higher stakes seen a small inflation in the cap.

Freemoney has been constantly lowering the rake.   I imagine if btc doesn't correct he will likely lower the chip cap.

But throwing around accusations of "highest rake in the industry" is just unreasonable.

I have been playing Seals for about 2 months now and I love it. There are great freeroll opportunities and the benefits for playing there for a while are great! I just have a couple of quick questions:

1: Is it possible to rack up good amounts of krill from tournaments? I mostly only play tournies and my krill isn't going up a whole lot.

2: What is the SealsDeals Bounty tournament? I looked at the website but I still don't understand it.

Thanks!

Did you guys eliminate all freerolls for non-krillers?  I'm so sad and dissapointed.

It took me forever to get to 500Krill to start playing the 500 krill freeroll, then you guys bumped it up to 1.25K krill for the lowest freeroll.  Now the free freerolls are going away.  I bet by the time I get to 1.25K krill the amount will be raised again and i will again be disqualified.

I got to 500 krill just weeks after the prize of 50 chips for getting to 500 krill got eliminated?  Is this just my bad luck?  No wonder I'm a terrible poker player.  Are you guys trying to break my heart?

I really really woulda thought that you guys woulda grandfathered in old players when you raised the krill requirements.  That way loyal (if poor) folks like me would still be able to hang around and spread the message of what a great place SwC is.

What gives, y'all?  Don't you love me back?

Grandfather a brother in, puh-lease.

Also, rakeback/krill is awarded based on the Dealt method - a huge win for any winning player and/or serious grinders

There's one under the SNG tab, 99 players.  Apparently, it is triggered only when the site activity is relatively low, but when it opens, it pops off as soon as it get 99 people.  There's also stuff like the Boozehound.  And of course the DonkDown.

Micon, are any forms of freerolls going to reinstated? Or, is the 99 man SnG on random spawn the only one now?

I was just wondering if there is a freeroll schedule in the the works or if freerolls have now gone away?

TY for all your help and input.
