This coin does not really address the main issue with cpu coins.

I'm afraid i don't see how it helps at all against botnets and cheap vps instances?

PTS and Memory coin have tried to address this already but vertcoin is still wide open to those issues??

So what right now is the point of this coin?

getnetworkhashps

15:20:39
7801760

So that's nearly 8Mh/s! For a CPU-only coin (ATM) that's not too shabby!

Although nothing so far with my OC'd i5 2500k

Would be much appreciated

You ain't missing much. Almost 3 hours now mining with 3300 hash/s and nothing, absolutely nothing. Maybe once diff increases at block 8064. I'm guessing a handfull of people with six core processors and low latency are reaping it good.

I was running it in Sandboxie and suddenly I got an error and it shut down. I started again and it shut down again with Sandboxie saying its trying to access something externally.

Anybody else getting this?

Since i mined only a few blocks i would like to buy around 5000. Give me offers. The last one i had was 0.0006 per VTC but i think it is a bit steep...
