Now trading at 0.00006999/BTC
Was selling at 0.00008 a little after, still undervalued at that.

Yeah, at 0.00008 a normal 1Mh/s equivalent (500 kh/s VTC) would net you ~200 coins, and sell for 0.016, which is basically what you get mining doge.. This coin should be selling for quite a bit more. Looks like a good deal can be made playing the gap on this one though, as the buys start at 0.000047.

using the modified cgminer. 1. Don't quote yourself but edit your last post. 2. Your question has been asked several times before; do a search before you ask.

Info on eu.vertcoin.org: Please withdrawal your VTC soon, the pool is going to turn off due to high load problem in the server. Edit: did a withdrawal some 30 minutes ago but it has not been processed so far. I hope that this is not 90 VTC down the drain. Edit2: Coins have arrived.

Help needed here please.
I am using the modified cgminer and when it starts up with all the same settings as I use everywhere else it errors due to Threadconcurrency being to high. TC I usually use is 8192 but to get mining vertcoin I have to lower TC to about 4000 this drops my hash rate quite a bit. Any thoughts please.
This is totally standard, the different algorithm in VTC means you only get, at best, half your normal hashrate. People are reporting ~40-50% of normal scrypt. Of course, everyone else gets the same reduction in hashrate, so you're still equally competitive with other miners as you would be on another coin. Thread concurrency having to be lower is also because of the different algorithm. I'll ask @vertcoin to put this in the OP, since it's a bit confusing to people if they haven't read about it before they fire up cgminer and see their "low" hashrate.

I think there will still be a bit of a discount for a while if 8,000 satoshis is the breakeven point vs. the most profitable scrypt coin - given the newness, I'd expect this to remain an excellent buying opportunity for a little while yet. As difficulty rises, in a few weeks when you're mining 10% of what you mine now per day, I'd expect profitability to start getting closer to doge.

No-one wants to sell any VTC! (I'm not surprised at these prices)

Please balance pools guys. Vertcoins pools are being upgraded today, so the ones to move to are pool.pm and kilovolt at the moment.

faster CPUminer for vertcoin is done, based on pooler-cpuminer. Source only, no more changes from my side. It is my fear this will be used by botnet operators. https://github.com/Bufius/cpuminer-vertMore speed than the existing CPU miner for Vertcoin? -> yes, nearly 4 times faster (with AVX, AMD A4 4000@3Ghz) accepted: 51/51 (100.00%), 4.89 khash/s (yay!!!) Can anyone make a windows build? I would also appreciate Windows build. Tried myself and failed big time

This is the best coin, hands down! The innovation directly reflects the needs that stemmed from problems with other coins. Cannot go wrong with Vertcoin!

I have a question : Why "Vert"coin ? My primary language is French and "vert" in French means "green", so I was wondering why "green"... Am I wrong ?
