Hello icoiners,
Its really sad to see some of icoin team members leaving the scene or no longer involve in icoin. I personally worked with them to create the icoin video which will be released soon, these ppl are honest and nice to work with. Hopefully, we will have more great people to join the team. 

Initial users didn't left. I think that iCoin has future.

That is good to know! I take it a lot of the users behind iCoin don't actually post on this ANN.

I have had my doubts in the past but the team has always delivered, I don't think I have seen one complaint from the community where something wasn't given.

Yet I would rather have captainhook posting then any of the above because he is the one that gets to decide how the premine gets spent and until that premine is spent he does have all the power and it doesn't matter what any support person says.

What's going on with speedminer pool I haven't received any coin for 2 days !
Even though, I have a confirmed balance in the pool page but no successful pay out yet.

 Manual payment didnt work either, I'm afraid this will affect the net hashrate since speedminer is the largest pool for icoin out there

Thanks for the reply speedminer, I'm one of the top hasheres in ur pool.(I'll pm u my user details) I made several cashout orders for the last 2 days with zero success, my earning is fine but no successful transfer to my PC wallet yet. My coins still there in the pool wallet which is not safe. Please help me to resolve this issue asap.. Thanks

Only Rits (designer) lefts. Ryan is too busy but he and the rest are still working in iCoin team. I don't post here so offen because Viperbass and Ryan are responsible for PR/Community but every information posted were discussed in team. I will be more active here to share workload of team.

Hey guys, haven't posted here in a couple weeks. It's great to see some core community involvement and people wanting to step up to the plate. The conference was a great experience and a fantastic opportunity to put iCoin on the map. Although the crowd was small (200-300 attendees) there were some great pundits and spectators alike, and the videos of each talk will be available soon to promote at your discretion!

The rumors are true, haha! I have stepped away from a daily active role for iCoin. I own 2 traditional businesses, one of which involves me leading a group of 550+ people, and at the end of the day I have to keep up with my responsibilities and put food on the table.

Here are the facts -

- I still own and actively invest in iCoin, purchasing up more here and there.

- I still have a grand interest in seeing iCoin succeed.

- The name and branding needs to stay congruent. It's fantastic the way it is If a new designer is brought on, he needs to replicate the current design.

CaptainHook will take more of an active role. We have spoken to him on a weekly basis. The premine DOES need to be spent, preferably in the next 4-6 months. If it is not, iCoin will eventually fail. Plain and simple. That's arguably been one of the only detriments towards iCoin's growth. Once a larger percentage is spent, this currency will explode. I say that coming from experience on behalf of seeing other currencies at the Crypto Currency Convention. They are seeing greater gains and success than iCoin, but we smoke them in practically all aspects, especially marketability which is most important in terms of long-term adoption.

I have communicated to a great extent with Jason (TeamiCoin) about what needs to take place for the success of iCoin to come to fruition, and in a nutshell it involves more of the community stepping up to the plate and getting creative, and speaking with people outside of the btctalk forums. Spending the premine and merchant acquisition should be paramount to other activities as well.

I'm going to post the YouTube video for the new iCoin infographic commercial (which is fantastic btw) and I also have some spare iCoin for whoever wants to promote that heavily.

I'll be acting as more of an outside consultant for iCoin at this time, and plan to check back on all progress every week or so!

Just to add to what Bigridg7 said we will still be here to help out when Captainhook needs us to action something for iCoin.

With regards to the designer cointopic, he has put a lot of effort into the iCoin design and website which the community, merchants, businesses etc etc can adopt very easily going forward.

I know when the premine is eventually gone the community will really rally behind this coin because then everyone will feel they can contribute. While there is a premine it feels like a business and the team members have to do everything and that will not get us very far in the crypto world.

Thanks viper for your time you have given to iCoin and must of been hard working under these conditions with people complaining about the premine all the time when you had no control of it.
Thanks to Ryan who is Bigridg7 you added a much needed spark to iCoin and gave it more momentum, it is good to have a face representing the currency because we never knew who Captainhook, Viperbass,teamicoin and cointopic were.

I just hope for iCoins sake Captainhook does post more updates and I am looking foward to the IPO if its fair and done well. I agree with Bigridg7 that the premine needs to be gone in 6 months and I think we will see a turn around. It will be good to IPO to whales or people who have lots of btc to invest in the coin afterwards.

Yes, this is probably the most marketable coin out there. Maybe all it needs is a p&d team to hit it - and the big holders selling wisely to their pumps making them work for us instead.
