Why do ALL pools have a high block finding time? (~120%) They can't all be that unlucky.

@bumface Still no update for Linux Ultracoin Wallet at start post. Request you to add Linux build instruction from source, so people will get protected up-to date UTC client. 1. sudo apt-get install qt4-qmake libqt4-dev build-essential libboost-dev libboost-system-dev \ libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-thread-dev \ libssl-dev libdb++-dev libminiupnpc-dev
2. git clone https://github.com/dx11/ultracoin
3. cd ultracoin
4. qmake "USE_UPNP=1" && make
5. ./Ultracoin-qt Successfully recompiled new wallet with OpenSSL bug fix. https://i.imgur.com/BT4mDxh.png

Shouldn't there be update for wallet right about now ?
You missed it Phase 1 of the wallet update is complete!
This update is not mandatory but highly recommended.....
The following points have been adressed in this update:
phase 1: Checkpoints, stake modifiers and splash build error.
Increased version to 1.0.1.0 and updated minimum protocol version
I have tested this new build and it communicates with the old chain, you can send UTC from and to an un-updated wallet.
Once you delete everything except the wallet.dat file from the ultracoin folder, start the new client, the new client then updates the chain and the wallet
Step 1 : Type %appdata% in the windows search box (you see it when you click the start button)
Step 2 : Find the ultracoin folder
Step 3 : Copy the wallet.dat into a backup folder, do NOT delete or cut it!
Step 4 : Delete everything in the appdata/ultracoin, but DO NOT DELETE THE WALLET.DAT
Step 5 : Download this file http://www.speedyshare.com/SdmKg/ultracoin-1.0.1.0-windows-qt.rar
Step 6 : Extract the folder from the download somewhere, now drag the Ultracoin-qt.exe from the new download into your normal wallet folder (not into the appdata/ultracoin folder but your wallet folder)
Step 7 : Click yes when it asks do you want to replace the file.
Step 8 : Start the wallet,it will now download the entire blockchain again (this will take some time).
DONE.@Bumface a question... Is it also possible or is it more easy to do it like this : > 1: make a backup of the Ultracoin wallet.dat file that is in use a the moment > 2: then after making the backup delete the whole (old) wallet from the computer > 3: then donwnload the new wallet V 1.0.1.0 > 4: start the new wallet and let it download the whole blockchain > 5: download in the new wallet the wallet.dat backup Or is this stupid what I think now

What the hell is going on? Are people getting out of crypto trading? Looks like it for now until they upgrade to v2 platform. Trade volume is gone. Right now, MintPal is where most of the trading is done for Ultracoin it seems.

i think the best way is to promote utc! share utc with your friends, write a little article, translate the bitcointalk post to your language, like the facebook page and so on..and look for example to the dogecoin community! the community "make" a coin not one single whale!
i bought utc at the first day it hits ct and i spent a few btc (a lot for me), because i believe in this coin! bumface and the other guys did a great job thats for sure and now i think its time that the community do something for this coin.

This is getting ridiculous. The last valid block found on pool.pm was found by one of my workers... over 9 hours ago. Only three blocks in the last 9 hours and all three orphaned. Similar results for the past few days.
It wasn't this bad until the last N-factor change. N-factor is across the board. So everyone's hashrate drops, as does difficulty, and the proportions should stay close to the same. But things definitely went to crap (pardon my french) on pool.pm, which until now, was still doing okay despite the Nitro situation. Is there something about the recent N-factor change that could have amplified the disproportional hashrate problem with Nitro?

Bumface & other devs, have you been in contact with the guys from litebit.eu / litepaid.com yet? Litebit.eu is a Dutch and European site where you can buy altcoins directly with Euro's with multiple payment methods. Litepaid is like a Bitpay for altcoins, which would make widespread merchant adoption for Ultracoin possible. I've heard an interview with the CEO and they seem very open-minded about adding new altcoins. I think Ultracoin has a good chance of being listed.
I'll add the text about the wallet update to Dutch page. Edit: DONE (also changed the wallet download link for Windows)

I have sent a message to the CEO K. Rokven of Litebit.eu regarding adding support for Ultracoin. I'll let you know if I hear anything back.

That's a great tool. Many needed that. Although it was more rewarding figuring it out Now I using yacminer, just a few questions if someone could answer please. What does FB:x mean in the miner console top right corner? What does T:1 mean? Is it Cpu threads?? I take it Diff does not read correctly? Current Diff:85.1k? I still don't know what ST:x , SS:x , NB: xx mean Also pool says "pool" diff 32 NF 12 - What does NF mean?? OK, that's it, thanks.
