If UTC was the primary trade pair on exchanges, how much faster would it be to transfer funds from one exchange to the next?

Do you think there a difference in speed over other cryptos as far as exchange to exchange transfers?  Or not enough to be noticeable? I am in computer forensics so the answer would probably be to test the theory myself...lol.  Being lazy, thanks for the input.

I've done some testing on this, the average for all exchanges is between 6 and 7 minutes. The slowdown is because they have a daemon that runs on a cycle, usually 5 minutes, that looks for and processes withdrawals and deposits. We have been considering ways to get exchanges to prioritize UTC transfers, may be able to get that if we bring volume.

And the difference between coins is only noticeable for those those with slow confirmation times.

Thanks for all the hard work Devs!

I actually pulled out of altcoins completely at one point in the near past because I didn't see any change, and swore I'd only play the BTC/USD market. You guys have definitely sparked my interest again.
It's nice seeing a team that has a game plan for the future influx of ASIC's. In my humble opinion, the only winners once the ASIC's hit basic scryptcoins will be first and foremost Bitcoin, because it will be receiving all the volume from the mass of miner dumpers -and second, those altcoins (especially Ultracoin) that has relentlessly tried to keep this coin a future altcommodity/currency.

What exactly do these basic scryptcoin's have in their arsenal for a line of defense, i.e. Litecoin, Doggycoin, Fedoracoin, etc... Do they just "up" their difficulty level on a massive scale? How does that affect the growth of the coin and community? Wouldn't that just make those coin's future only feasible for the ASIC community, which would limit it immensely?

I mean just look at fedoracoin. They've mined almost half their coins (total 500,000,000,000) in just under 5 months. All it does is push the price down even lower. It's like these type coins don't even understand the concept of a commodity and terms of "peak mining" for a limited resource. Their recent solution is that they temporarily got multipool from mining their coin. YEA!!! HUGE SUCCESS!!! Yet, wait till the ASIC's hit!!!

Any comments/thoughts appreciated.

Thanks again Dev's!

Is there any way you can make this pool not require registration? That's always a big turnoff for me - yet one more password to generate and store, one more account to get hacked, etc.

Can you just have the username be an address send all mined coined e.g. once a day?

So is this basically 4 different multipools paying out in UTC (one for each algo)? I assume scrypt-N adaptive applies just to current VertCoin NFactor (10)?

I think UTC need fix orphan. We have a lot of orphans.
Plz fix:
1: 51% attach(all hashrate in nitro <--- not good)
2: Block time target: 30 seconds change to 45 seconds or 60 seconds.

Multipool only run scypts because it is easy to config.

Sorry guys, but what is the reason for having a multipool for a coin, that can be mined directly? Does it mean that nobody wants to mine UTC any more?
