Hey guys,

I'm currently working on a website which will go online in the next weeks. Cannot pick an exact date, as I'm also a web developer by profession (and passion) and I'm doing this in my spare time.
The website is a TYPO3v6 project and its target is to make people all over the world aware of where they can pay with cryptocurrencies (in online- as well as "brick-and-mortar-stores", you know, those offline ones one can actually touch, hehe).

As I'm totally into Ultracoin, I'd love to support it by listing it on the page, as one of the first coins to be represented there. Here's an overview of the functionality:

• search for country, city, zip, address to find shops and services which accept cryptocurrencies
• a nice map which shows the search results (I'm using OpenStreetMap, combined with Leaflet.js)
• users will be able to submit new shops and services (either directly by using a login on this website - then, the entry will be available directly - or as unregistered user where I'll have to add the shop/service manually)
• a voting system for shops and services whom users wish to accept cryptocurrencies (will be sort of the main USP of my project, as it brings huge opportunities: we can make vendors aware of how big the interest in them adding e.g. Ultracoin support to their website actually is)
• ...and some other nice features

Actually, I'm pretty far with the website; the search feature and the maps work like a charm. I'm programming an MVC-based Extbase-/Fluid-Extension which handles all this stuff. Extbase and Fluid are Frameworks (Extbase for functionality, Fluid as templating engine) which belong to the TYPO3 CMS.

Thought that this would be a good idea, because I never really found an extensive, community-based project which tells me where i can spend my ultracoins, bitcoins, litecoins and what not else.

So that's just a little announcement. If some of you like to give some feedback about this idea in general (meaning, do you think it's actually useful or a waste of time), it would be very appreciated.

I am absolutely gobsmacked on exactly how profitable x11 mining is! If you use LTCrabbits kernel, you will easily make more UTC from that than any other algo, even directly mining UTC!

That and it seems that we have driven the price of UTC up already!

Everyone should at least give it a shot! I can guarantee they will not be disappointed.

i.e.  I`ve just got paid ~350UTC for 133 shares in the first shift,

Now my confirmed shares say 5790 and total shares say 1,223,998.

How do I judge how much I`ve earned without waiting for a payout ?

Shares are separate per Algo. x11 shares are a lot LOWER than Scrypt Shares.
So, If you are mining at 500KH/s on scrypt. You are submitting roughly 190 shares every 15 seconds.
If you are mining x11 with 3MH/s you are submitting roughly 0.004 shares every 15 seconds.

So for 133 shares on your first shift, that is presumably x11. 133 x11 shares is a lot. That's why you had a high payout. Considering there was 1370 shares total for the x11 shift.

As to your total shares for x11, I have to fix a bug that is currently present with the server. I had an x11 share multiplier setup to multiple x11 shares by 10000 just so I could test it. I will remove this shortly and you will have an accurate share reading

I will soon add a feature on your expected payout for each algorithm

Today I have completed my 3rd negotiations meeting with a team of Dutch investors who believe and plan to invest in the future of UTC by re-starting several developments.

I see this as a very fruitful and welcome opportunity for UTC and I believe it will give a positive boost for the long term.


The new team of investors have my full approval,and we are discussing transfering the management of Ultracoin to them,and this also entails passing along full control in desicion making to this team.

Off course I will stay in the new team as a Strategic Partner and as member of the Dev Team i will lead several (new) developments,such as the minecraft plugin.
At this upcoming days we're working hard to give further shape and to develop the plans for the best future of UTC.

The new investors have the financial backing and marketing skills in order to make Ultracoin a success in the long term.
We will provide you the upcoming period with several updates about the progress and plans of the new management team.


I ask all UTC'ers to have a little patience before we can tell the plans in detail. This wil take about two weeks.
