Probably a dumb question, but I want to be sure I don't fry my Antman's:
This space I have set up, should be relatively static-free right?

To minimise static, keep the relative humidity of the air at around 50%.
It looks like a metal shelf, so earth it.
If RH drops below 35% you can get staic build-up, particularly if the floor is insulative (man-made fibre carpet etc.)
You can buy a humidifier if you live in particularly dry conditions, or just hang up your washing in the same room, like I do.  Grin
Then you just have to watch out for dust build-up on the cooling fins.  Roll Eyes

If you think I deserve it - BTC always welcome - 14GkxT2xcpgvGVBgMjtGeFiXrxnttBSRRF

The shelf looks fine. Just be aware if the floor is carpeted that you should be careful and discharge any static electricity before touching your gear. Wink

Actually the floor is carpetted, which makes me worried.

Hardly anyone speaks English on this forum.

Just wish to add we sell only for US customers and the official price for Antminer S1 Dual Blade u$s 1200.- https://112bit.com

$1200??? I'll be back when BTC breaks $1000. At the current BTC rates, that price is a massive loss.

They were in stock for an estimated full 3 seconds this time around. Guessing they had 1-3 units.  Wink

Somewhat of a pointless exercise and waste of people's time releasing so few at a time.  Undecided

Will there be any "normal sales" soon?
It does not make sense trying to buy units this way....

Bitmain: You should really create a waiting list/reservations with a one hour time to buy - not a pre-order, just a waiting list. This way is ridiculous and anyone located far from the server has no chance of buying one at a specific time when your site won't load due to timeout Sad

The last 2 days are a contrast to all the previous fire-sales - I dont know how there can be so much demand at >1.4BTC
