We do not have delays with ticket service anymore. All previous tickets answered and issues resolved. In case some issue was not resolved (and you do not have answer that it can not be resovled) - please, reply in ticket you may have or create new ticket if you did not by now.

Can you let me know what happens to our investment in FIRST coin?? I am new to this and have less knowledge about the procedure. I saw your message on twitter that FIRST coin is removed..... But what about small investors like me??

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Hi C-CEX

At 4-10-2017 19:00 (CET) went down just after I had deposited BTC for trading. It said that it would be
back within minutes for short maintenance. HOWEVER:
It is now 5-10-2017 10:00 and it is still down with the same message: "doing short maintenenance".

When will it be availible again ?  It is very annoying that CCEX goes down like this all the time.

At 2017-10-05 11:00 (CET) CCEX came back again and we were able to trade again for some hours
and then at 2017-10-05 15:00 it went down again !!!

Again we wait for the completion of this maintenenance. Very annoying.

What about first coin... c-cex says blockchain changed ....if first coin change their blockchain then other exchanges for first coin also effected but this is only troubble in c-cex  ...and only responsible for our invested money

Yes - we have necessary DB maintenances from time to time due to lot's of new traders. And when we add coins we also need several minutes of downtime. This maintenances let's us serve traders at acceptable speed and security. We are working to improve our service and make maintenances rare.

Today 2017-10-06 15:00 (CET) CCEX is down again (3 days in a row !) and I just try to log in so they could have been down whole day.
This is very bad. Member C-CEX says (just like the message): "we need several minutes of downtime".

If this were true then everyone could live with that. however: the website is down for lots of hours (4 october even the whole day)
and that is completely unacceptable for trading.

CCEX please stop this continuous uncommunicated downtimes and use fixed maintenance-schedules that are reported clearly
on the website so that traders know when there will be downtime !!!

That's not true. We have necessary short maintenances but we were not down for 3 days - check trading history on coins. As for maintenances - here we posted already: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=418700.msg22578965#msg22578965

My ticket is not solved and already passed 5 days.
My withdrawal was processed and I have transaction ID in history but I don't receive coins in my wallet about 100 hours.
I wrote you in every day this week and I have no answer from you.

In your TOS you have this note:
"Your withdrawal was not instant and got queued? Don't worry - it will be processed soon or we will put coins back to your balance automatically in case wallet is unable to process it. No need to open ticket."

I need to solve this issue ASAP, or in my c-cex balance or in my wallet address.

Hi , i did hold 500 ZCL before the split and forgot about it.I would like to get the 500 zen resulted from the fork.I know you do not support zen but nevertheless it is rightfully mine.So please show some good will and return the 500 zen to me.Not supporting does not give you the right to hold it from me.After all 10.000 usd is an important amount (at least for me).I even would agree with paying a fee for your effort up to 50% from what i held here.I think it is more than a generous offer and it worth your while.Thanks and best wishes.

Regarding broken blockchains.

Unfortunately we have many of them by now and looks like it's systematic problem which affect coin developers. Here is all information we have about this problem.

1. How we register deposits? We scan for incoming transactions and check if it has enough confirmations (set by coin developer as secure for each coin we have). After we have enough confirmation the deposit get posted to user balance.

2. What makes us consider coin blockchain broken? We verify already posted deposits which already had enough confirmations and find them invalid (they have confirmations: -1 or confirmations: 0). We verify those transactions in block explorer and find them there infact giving us strong evidence of broken blockchain because usually for good working blockchains it is impossible to see invalidated transactions in block explorer or addresses with negative balance.

3. How it happens? Here we can only make an assumption. Possibly blockchain cracker put big hashpower on blockchain he attack and make instant fork, creating fake transactions and pushing confirmations to it visible for all network including our wallet. After he remove hashpower network recovers and shows those transactions invalid with negative balances on addresses realted to it. During the time of confirmed fraud transactions attacker sell coins on market and withdraw BTC without delay. After network recover attacker may also withdraw good coins from our wallet in normal way because he has them on his balance from fraud deposits. In result attackers account has no BTC or attacked coins on balance and in most cases making our wallet empty which stops us from ability to provide withdrawals.

4. How we can protect our customers from this type of attack? Infact we can't. As most of blockchain has small block time it is impossible to detect fraud transactions fast because they looks like exactly as non-fraud for all network including our wallet and they have real confirmations with real blocks visible to all.

5. What can we advise to our traders? Please, always make your own research before trading any coin. We never vouch for any dev or coin owner. When you trade coin - you trust not only exchange but mostly coin developer. If you unsure about developer or quality of coin - do not trade that coin.

6. What should coin developers care to protect their coins from this kind of attack? First - they do not have copy paste code which has being used for 1000 times already without revision and deep understanding how cryptowallet and blockchain works. They have to care much about blockchain security with checkpoints, private nodes, monitoring servers etc.

We have nothing to do with broken blockchain unless developer offer some solution. Usually they fix wallet vulnerabilities and make swap or move to more reliable blockchains like ethereum, nxt or bitcoin.

WOW! Exchange since March continues to host and KNOW about the broken blockchain coins "Bitcoin gold", but trading BTG continues to 20.10.2017. WHAT IS THAT EXCHANGE?Huh? Blockchain of this coin is broken. It has unconfirmed transactions which appeared to be confirmed before. Those transactions are result of successful double spend attack on blockchain which brought many user balances including our exchange balance to incorrect values. We have to remove coin from exchange because there is no way to fix this issue from our side.
Please, note - C-CEX exchange is completely fine. User balances was not compromised on C-CEX. The reason is only broken blockchain which does not have coins anymore. Please, note - when you trade coins, you trust not ony an exchange - you also trust developer who made this coin. In this case wallet had weaknesses which led to blockchain inconsistency. What then of MY deposit made to my BTQ account NINE DAYS AGO which as of this moment has 23,684 (That's twenty three thousand, six hundred and eighty four!) blockchain confirmations and still my C-Cex balance shows zero ? ? ? ? ??  ? ? Huh Huh Huh ? ??
They have many coins and busy, support won't answer you until you start spamming with other tickets. Don't hold too many cash in there.

"doing short maintenenance". Can last for a long while on C-CEX. Theat being said it always comes back online, so I would not worry to much.

I was charged 0.002 BTC (11usd in current BTC rates) Withdrawal Fee for 134usd worth BTC. All my earnings is lost in just 1 withdrawal.

Can you help me fix this. Last time I withdraw I was only charged 0.0002 BTC fee. I already posted a ticket but I still need your inputs on this.
