To ALL

Unfortunately the pool at con.hash.so is closing down at the end of this month. Startum has already been shut down.

They are also not running the latest wallet and are thus on a different blockchain but have agreed to update it to the latest so that people can withdraw their coins.

This does mean that if you have any coins mined here after the 7th April 2014 you will probably not receive them into your wallets as they will have been confirmed on the wrong blockchain.

We understand that the admin is closing all of his pools due to a change in personal circumstances and would like to point out this is not a Coin(O) only issue.

If you have any coins mined at this pool before the hard fork on the 7th April then once their wallet has been updated you will be able to withdraw these.

We would like to point out that we are not responsible for the operation of any pools and we have done out best to ensure all Coin(O) pools are running the latest wallets, but we can't do it for them.

If you are still running an old wallet, you can download the latest binaries and source code from www.coinocoin.com

Just to advise everyone, we finally closed our Coino pool as well.

The majority of the users withdrew their coino, so a negligable amount of 233 remains in the main wallet.

It was a great venture! Thanks for those who have mined on http://coino.suchpool.pw

Its interesting to see the happy posts returning here.

If you haven't been paying attention - the price of Coino is going up in the last little while.

This morning its trading fairly actively in the 210-165 range.  It was as low as 110 for several days.

The new support is coming from happiness in the coin world about the new development group.  One doesn't need to look far to find hundreds of coins that have problems similar to what Coino was going through a month ago.

If you have some spare time, why not tell one or two people about Coino?  In the world of pump, dump and disappear coins, Coino is quickly becoming an old standard that has been around longer then many of the new comers.

Coino is a great coin to mine at the moment as well.  If you are introducing someone to the world of digital currency, Coino makes a great choice for getting their feet wet.

Welcome aboard (or back aboard)... you can look forward to more exciting announcements to come.

Just to keep you all informed that we, the coin(O) community team, are working hard in the background to make Coin(O) a world class coin.

There are some good conversations going on over in the irc at freenode.net. just join the #coinocoin channel and join us.

Some of the things we are working on at the moment are a new website design for coinocoin.com and we are also beta testing a new web wallet. There are not many coins out there with their own web wallet and this will allow you to access your coins on any device.

We hope to have some more details about how you can get your new Coin(O) web wallet in the next few days. The current testing is going well and we will only be making a few aesthetic changes before going live as the core functionality seems to be pretty stable.

Today there was an issue resulting in an emergency reboot. The stratum servers where automatically re-started, but the wallets where not.
The downtime of the wallets was about a little less then 2 hours.

Nation-war mining takes mining serious and understands the issues this might have brought to you.

To compensate for the downtime, all nation-wars pools will have a 0% fee till at least 2300h CET Sunday 20th (approx 24 hours)

Thank you for your trust in nation-wars mining!

Earlier today, the signed certificates were installed on the new Coino Web Wallet.

It has been tested a fair amount and we are ready for mass public testing and use.

As with any web wallet, while steps have been taken to ensure it is secure, we are not able to guarantee its complete safety.  Please store only what you need on the web wallet.  If you have spare Coino, take steps to store it safely, like you would with any digital currency.

You can find the web wallet at:

http://wallet.coinocoin.com

To begin, you need to enter your email address.  You will receive a confirmation with a login link and a hash.  Use the link and the hash to access the wallet.  You are welcome to bookmark the login link.

Should you ever loose the login link, you can simply re-enter your email address to receive a new login link.

This is version one of the wallet.  More features are planned in the near future.

Please provide feedback on the wallet and let us know of any issues you may find.  The wallet is intended to work on any device, but it would be helpful if you try it on an exotic device to let us know if it worked well.

Feel free to spread the word - the wallet is ready for use.

Awesome. Just signed up for one and deposited some coinos into it. So far so good.  Love the fast transactions. I'd like to try sending it so if you don't mind, give me a coino address I can send to to test it out. A little gift from me to you Smiley

Hi, after 5-10 minutes of Mining on the video card is starting to show booooo! Restart miner 5-10 minutes and then boooo!

A (very) limited number of Boo's is not a big issue. Especially with a fast coin like coino.
On my pool http://coino.nation-wars.com it varies per user between 0% and 5% depending on the user

Another solution could be to lower intensity a bit.. lower hash-rate but when you get higher rate accepted, you are effectively mining faster!
