For those of you unaware or just worried about what seems like a lot of dumping lately : On the longterm overview charts Dash is impressively rising up big time. I actually think we are looking at a major third pump / major bullish run at a time more and more masternodes are being set up. It will be interesting to see how this third pump / bullish run will differ from the other two major pumps, due to so much Dash being stashed away as collateral in order to run these masternodes. https://cryptowat.ch/poloniex/dashbtc/1w

You know, I was one of those people who wanted Dash to do so many things (especially in the beginning of this project). I knew we could do them, I still have a pull in my gut that wants Masternodes to run an auction site like ebay, LOL, but although I knew why the team didn't want to pursue these avenues, my "alone in a candy store" feelings still persisted. But today, I finally realized, that is I actually know - it's cracked my resistances - that the Dash team is the wisest team in crypto. Our singular focus on making Dash digital cash - money that's as easy to use as cash - only online as well as in person - will win the race. Sure, we'll have times when we seem boring, our price will stagnate, and even fall. Then people will begin using Dash, slowly but surely, we'll get merchants to adopt Dash, and then Dash will be the most usable, most wanted currency in the world. Because it works. And because it works perfectly This, exactly. Glad you're coming around, Tante.

will be interesting to see if Dash can manage to break through the 0.016 range once and for all.... looks like its giving it another shot.
It is inevitable Or not

Monero is going up. Maybe this means that the stupid money speculators are going to start pouring into privacy-centric coins??
Seems they got azure. Azure is just a PaaS. What percent of the people investing in cryptocurrencies are complete ignoramuses? 90? 95? yes i dont get it why monero got listed in the azure unless it was for pump and dump, i can understand about ethereum because its for the appzz btw maybe Dash should be listed on azure too As I said a couple of weeks back: thanks Walter_S, i appreciate the feedback.
No probs, it's not a massive amount of work and much of the good work that's been done on dashman could probably be utilized to make a 'dash masternode out-of-the-box'. Azure has literally hundreds of templates, i'm sure if Dash team put the work in and spoke to the right people at Azure there's no reason why we can't do the same. It's hardly exclusive and it looks like most of it is done through github anyway: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/documentation/templates/Here's a contribution guide for those who fancy it : https://github.com/Azure/azure-quickstart-templates/tree/master/1-CONTRIBUTION-GUIDEWalter Edit: having done a bit of reading it looks like it's all automated anyway and bots check the template submission against it's rules and guidelines. This is all bitshares and etherium have done from what I understand... I may stand corrected though...? ... So basically, there's nothing stopping ANY crypto getting listed in the Azure repository for templates as long as the community follow the above guidelines and create the template themselves. It's really no big deal, yet the market seems to react like Bill Gates has personally endorsed their crypto project Walter

AND THIS: i'm aware we have / are developing our own BaaS (Blockchain as a Service) but i was wondering if we would benefit from using Microsoft Azure in some way seeing how Bitshares has gone live on Microsoft Azure ? ref : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1393219.0 I'm really just curious if Dash could have benefits there (marketing benefits for example) or are we building something here that doesn't really need Microsoft Azure ? There's no reason why Dash can't be packaged and templated (is that a word lol) into a VM for use on any hosting platform... I'm not sure what the fuss is about with Bitshares and Etherium templates being available to provision on the azure platform. Azure is just a hosting platform that happens to be run by microsoft. I've used it in my business to host exchange and some line of business applications and it's great. Think if it like Vultr but with way more bells and whistles... Virtual Appliances or templates have been around for years so the tech is nothing new, packaging linux distros (or microsoft OS's) with pre-loaded software so that they're available for rapid deployment and provisioning on hosted platforms is cool stuff, but not exactly 'bleeding edge' for crypto. I was doing this stuff in VMware nearly a decade ago! I could set up a Masternode on Azure in exactly the same way as I do on Vultr, there's nothing to stop me. There's an ubuntu template on Azure so I'd just deploy that and set up a masternode as I would on Vultr. A template would be cool but that's something that can be developed independent of the azure platform anyway. There are a lot of clever people out there, creating a Virtual Appliance that sets up a masternode out-of-the-box is well within the technical abilities of the community I'm sure As for the general news about bitshares and etherium... A lot of hot air in my opinion. People just associate the word Microsoft with $$$$. Regards Walter Cheers

Yes, plenty going on. DASH is using its blockchain to fund projects that pass the budget proposal system. You can get a summary of proposals on the docket here: http://www.dashvotetracker.comYou can get much more details about each proposal here: https://www.dashwhale.org/budgetAnd, for better or worse, DASH now has ASICs.

So what is the strategy for putting such a big wall on a low volume exchange? Maybe it holds the price down until the arbitrageurs get their DASH buying funds moved over there? If demand is real then it will only slow things down a little bit.

What`s more heroic than to throw some Bitcoin at that nasty sellwall and turn them into future Masternode material? Mr Dashbear, tear down that wall!
