Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

What we are seeing now is price manipulation at it's finest

Hard to say but lately a lot of coins not only dark coin have had a reduction in price. Across 90% of alt coins have lost value. No doubt BTC to blame because the price is now recovering after all the FUD and people are seeing that and prices are on the increase with more buy volume and less sell.

I don't usually talk much about price, because honestly I don't really care. I'm mostly concerned with functionality and building something with real utility.

However, that's what the forums have been consumed with so here's my take on this. Darkcoin is six months old, last month we went from $0.77 to $15.00. It was literally four weeks long, and what goes up must come down. Crypto currencies grow in this way, it's actually normal. Next we'll form a base somewhere about here and things will get quiet before we make our next move to the upside.

I don't post all of the time because, I work insane amounts of time on Darkcoin. This is my job and when I'm posting I'm not coding. Plus, I'm an introvert and I really like putting on headphones and cranking out some code. It's what I do.

What's next?

Things will relax and I'll start perfecting the hard fork for the masternode payments, then RC3. When we're happy with that, I have contacts now all over the media that would love to do another article and update our progress.

Speaking of things coming down, that goes for X11Coin too. From the looks of it, you trust your money to the decentralized mixer by the way. They're pretty secretive about how it works, but that's what I gather from it. I'd love to get a response. DarkSend is trustless for a reason, you don't want the "XNodes" running off with the money.

Dear Evan

Your work is remarkable, but we need to be honest with ourselves, is too much work for 2 people only.
I ask to join the group in your forum, but never receive an answer. Maybe was my fault (need try several times). either way, the conversation group has members pushing up the "other" coin, Amazing.

If you need some help, just ask. PM for my email. My first computer was a sinclair Z81, My last work was a device to control an unstable body with huge mass in the air autonomously. (you can calculate the years of coding experience)

They have.

Seriously guys, get in right now. XC is being dumped. Manipulator who was pushing darkcoin down down puts up big sell walls and another whale is now just buying them in one go. If the pusher whale gives up it's jumping back up.

if you continue calling everybody retards, probably they will sell faster.

Probably you don't understand the basic supply/demand , there is no demand for this coin at this moment.
if you sell a couple of hours ago, probably you will rebuy now.
I was trying to support this coin the last 10 hours buying as I can. my demand is over, and nobody cares.

Seriously guys, get in right now. XC is being dumped. Manipulator who was pushing darkcoin down down puts up big sell walls and another whale is now just buying them in one go. If the pusher whale gives up it's jumping back up.

XC has a problem? flaw? dependency (on people staking?) - I don't know what it is, but it's taking EXTREMELY LONG to do confirmations when moving money to exchanges.

What this means, in actual terms, is that the whale buyer arrived stacked with BTCs and started buying. When XC's run out the price went through the roof. People cannot send money to exchanges because the transactions are too damn slow. I was like "why the fuck is cryptsy at 0.0005 and mintpal at 0.00042 and noone is arbitraging that despite the profit?" ...so I sent some XCs to arbitrage it and this thing is bitcoin x 5 in transaction times. I'm not kidding. It's where the meme photo with the skeleton STILL WAITING can be applied with 100% accuracy.

I also tried sending from Polo to Mintpal like 4 hours ago, nothing. Still another 5 verifications left or so. It's insane.

So with people unable to send XCs to the exchanges, the price has spiked beyond any control. The pumper wants to buy and there are no coins. Artificially diminished supply through no one's fault really.
