Maybe DRK should open up some of its code for a 3rd party to take a peek at too, or is peeking behind that magician's curtain unacceptable?

Meh.  Like cinni is relevent for anything.  A BC copy defending another copy.  Then has the balls to talk shit about what the dark
twitter posts while the XC dev says shit like https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=600706.msg7017281#msg7017281

I would consider a small investment in these coins when they prove themselves more and put out something...even a beta...that works. That is when I bought into DRK. Sorry but I don't make a habit of investing in vapor.

Amen.

After searching for over an hour yesterday I couldn't find any reasonable explanation for how XC worked. No drawings, no discussion, just an arxiv paper that is totally over my head and another paper that was written by someone who can't speak English but decided to write a paper in it anyway.

As someone said 1000 pages back when DarkRoad was mentioned:
"Ah, the sweet smell of scam."

Investors must have huge balls to buy after the Fedoracoin push, or must really like the term "paradigm."

I spent 5 mins and worked out exactly how it works:

I was about to tell him the same thing, how reliable can the assurance of a pseudonymous guy be in such matters? One pseudonymous guy vouching for someone who may or may not be who he says he is. Too much trust.

I told them, since there is doubt, the situation won't be proven with links. What's so difficult finding the number of dan and calling to see if he is the actual one? Oh god, why did I ever ask this - they were like "oh you are invading the privacy" and shit... W T F... like if there is a yellow pages entry one can find, what privacy? It's all public. You call, you ask hi, are you dan? is that your coin? if he says yes, he is the real man. If not, then the guy posting is an ID scammer on top of the rest. The real one would like to know that for sure. There's no reason debating this for so long on whether he is who he is or not. Links upon links prove nothing. A phone call (to a phone he himself has publicly listed in some catalog or directory) would do the job - or as a member said in there, if he controls his linkedin profile than just a change of letters in some details of the resume or personal info would convince anyone and that's the end of it. Not even a phonecall needed.

How do the exchanges make their money?

Well, I know they take a % of every trade, and exit.

But what do they do with shit alt-coins?

Do they exchange them as they go, or play the market, etc, and buy BTC?
