Ape, there's no need to do that, don't let the trolls get to you and the XC guys playing victim either. The entire XC community has been talking shit about Dark all week like they know everything and now when they get smacked in the face they blame us for some reason. Just keep the account and keep it clean and simple, official announcements, a few nice retweets, nothing complicated about it. |

you guys should have checked out #darkcoin irc .. there was all kinds of warning signals of XC going down, from trolls coming in promoting XC.. that in a clear indicator by its self, and then we took a look at the charts and someone called 0048 as a top.. got to 49 though.. cant be right all the time  |

This price drop in a couple of days is awesome for people who still want to set up a masternode, could be a once in a lifetime opportunity when this does take off. |

Darkcoin is playing Russian roulette with that post. If XC dev comes out with code tomorrow, it's going to help XC and hurt DRK. We already know the XC dev is capable of pulling it off from his past history. It doesn't really make sense to me that he would try to pull off a "pump and dump operation" while hiding under his real name. I guess if you think he will release nothing tomorrow, buy a bunch of DRK, if you think he will release something, buy XC. You can vote with your wallet on what you think is going to happen. |

All we should say is, don't know if they will succeed in their quest, don't understand the white paper(really don't), they copied x,y,z, ....wish them luck. Period. No need to fight a fight that will be won not on words but on the actions of the dev.

Current situation will damage the image of both coins at the end.
Both are loosing value. Where the money is going on?
Litecoin and Dogecoin fight each other at the beginning. Now they are in trouble and somebody suggest a scrypt merge.
A third actor could be the winner on this battle, and everybody insulting each other will destroy each community.
Please respect each other. There are enough space for both.

Paying attention to them (by tweeting/retweeting about them) just gives them free, undeserved publicity. Attacking them just makes us look insecure. Again, I think that you should be free to say whatever you want on your personal account, but the official account should not comment on other coins, good or bad, period. |

Ok. Let's put this into perspective. First, the price. It was awesome watching it runaway into the nexus but now it has returned to a more 'normal' place. What does this mean? For one, the run up and all definitetly means people want anonymous transactions and are down for masternodes. If you would have told me two weeks ago we would be at .01 I would have been ecstatic, however, we blew through that and landed way up in the .02s. Now, I'm not saying we should forget that we can get back there and not to aim higher, but this is all happening at an accelerated pace. Masternodes are not yet running and darksend is still not able to process transactions over 10 drk. Not to say these wont be fixed and done so with alacrity and fastidiousness. I want to say to everyone here, we have been and are continually getting trolled. Seriously. For weeks. FOR WEEKS. From ymer a self admitted troll to clown-baby-ass or whatever. We have to just ignore them. It's insane. There's nothing more dangerous than a stupid person who thinks they are a genius. Now, with the precipitous drop in price, trolls roll in and we gotta just chill. It's hard to do, but .01 is damn impressive. These guys are getting us riled up over stupid shit like, 'you want anonymity for public data? sounds stupid'. They dont deserve an explanation. All they need is a reply either with a link to the white paper or a 'no.' That's it. I have seen this forum devolve into a frenzied state. We're agitated and they know it. We can't let them rile us up.
We have to get this forum back to dark and end the petty bickering. New people are going to come and have been here, thanks to the large amount of publicity. Let's start acting rational in these un-rational times and be the steadying force in this choppy waters.
