What's this mean? XC mixer is copy of fedoracoin  Tell me Dev. No its not relax - the fedora code that is public doesn't actually work. The anon code and the network code was written from the ground up. I was working on a patch and copied the wrong file and the github client on my windows dev pushed that automatically.. notice the mixerann.h wasn't uploaded...thats why it wouldn't compile |

i heard a rumor.. all XC members who spent time on the Darkcoin forums will get automatically banned.
Explains why we have so many XC defenders in here all of a sudden .. they must be banned already on
the XC forum.

Doing some research on IP/Bitcoin tracking (a little prep for the up coming I2P and IP Obfuscation work) and came across this little nugget from Mr Bitcoin Nr.2: It's not just an issue with proxies. Since there's no authentication, any "man in the middle" can intercept your BitCoin transfer, including your ISP and other people on your wireless connection. It's like logging into your bank's website without HTTPS.
I don't see the security risk of being able to intercept or eavesdrop on a Bitcoin transfer. All transactions are broadcast to all Bitcoin generating nodes, anyway, and the transactions are impossible to alter or forge (because they're digitally signed). A man-in-the-middle could drop the transaction, but SSL doesn't fix that-- if they're relaying SSL traffic they could drop your SSL-encrypted transaction, too. There are good non-security-related reasons for encrypting Bitcoin transaction traffic, though (makes it harder for governments/ISPs to do deep packet inspection to selectively drop Bitcoin traffic, for example). |

I have a little question regarding MNs - Is it possible to give a guesstimate on how much datatraffic a MN would end up using for a month?
Looking at using hosted solutions for one, and they are always limiting the traffic / month..
