30 minutes is too long.
1000 masternodes shutdown in same time and bye bye darkcoin.
Do you think that Iceland is a problem for the Gov US ?

ok fine, scripted I can do it in 5 min, that better for you?

Also - shutdown 1000 of them, theres still 1100 remaining to service the network....clearly you are thick

Yes.  It's very easy to move from one service provider to another.  I recently did this leaving Amazon's web services to another provider.  The only thing I kept was the darkcoin.conf file from the old masternode.  Restart the masternodes from my local wallet, and voila!

1-2 hours max.   Most of the time spent was waiting for the blockchain to download to the new server.

How do I calculate approximately how much a masternode will  earn ?

Check out this website.  Gives a good estimate at DRK earned per day.

https://drk.mn/masternodes.html#mnlistdetail

Currently at .42 DRK per day * 30 days = 12.6 DRK per month.  My masternodes get around 1.75 DRK every 3-4 days.

Ow many masternodes running in US and EU ? 85% ?
And max in 10 datacenters.
So, it's to easy to switch off 85% of the masternodes network

  • it's NOT easy to switch off 85% of the Masternodes, it's a major task to get 32 different countries with 91 different hosting companies judicially under control (or if you're the NSA, hacked) and shut down the Masternodes almost simultaneously.
  • half of my Masternodes are hosted privately, so I alone can keep the Masternode network alive (and earn 1008 DRK per day BTW...that means one more Masternode per day which would have to be shut down also  Grin )
  • the Darkcoin network perfectly works without ANY Masternode. InstantX won't work any more, and you can't anonymize new coins (but you still can use your already anonymized ones). So, no problem
  • if it makes you happy, go and run a Masternode on a Pi. It's not trivial and most probably not very stable, though. Better use a cheap laptop for this, saves you a lot of time.

You don't think it'd work on the new pi with quad core cpu?  1000 mb ram?  I really really want one soooooo bad!  LOL

Hey Guys!!!

My husband just did a Bitcoin Rush Open Minute for his books and how we're trying to set up so we can sell them on our website for Darkcoin and Bitcoin.  It's not so easy to do anonymously!

Anyway, good episode as always (though I don't see a future for "fastcoin" ?? )  Anyway, please have a look and give us a thumbs up if you have a minute Wink  Thanks!

Somebody please post link to latest AMD miner
I also have R9 270x :-D
Not the one you asked for, but close-R9 290, suggest reducing xintensity and thread-concurrency, make sure your device is slot 'o' or re-number device accordingly (using commas if more than 1 present)
Safe software from here,
https://www.nicehash.com/?p=software
Make sure you have wolf0's bins renamed as your created bins, as that will double your hash rate and is way more important than most of the settings!!

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

2. Victims of prohibition comprise a huge market – one that should be served. The state “prosecutor” Timothy Howard and FBI employee Ilhwan Yum claimed that blockchain evidence linked supposed drug payments to Ulbricht personally.

That's the thing about open ledgers – they're available for review by the ill-intentioned, as well.

In response to this very conundrum, cryptocurrencies like Darkcoin and BitcoinDark have cropped up, promising to make the oppressed lives of those who buy and sell drugs just a little easier.

And “Bitcoin maximalists” scoff at these coins, decrying that they detract from Bitcoin's “market cap.” That so-called altcoins hurt cryptocurrency's potential by diluting the “network effect” of Satoshi's coin.

These maximalists are in effect shunning a gargantuan (and growing) market for cryptocurrency.

Those seeking anonymous payments should instead be catered to, marketed to, and courted as customers, not swept under the rug as a kind of reputation stain.

You want mass adoption? Then look to drugs. It doesn't get more mass adopted than that.
