An interesting article that bodes well for DRK: http://dcmagnates.com/juniper-research-dollar-value-of-bitcoin-transactions-to-more-than-halve-this-year/

Two points in particular strike me as very positive--first:

"Right now, the report says, Bitcoin has gained traction mostly with a tech-savvy and libertarian demographic. It would have to expand its adoption beyond this genre in order to reverse the current trend."

Now ask yourself, how will the "tech-savvy and libertarian demographic" respond as they learn about the advances made by Evan and the team, and to the growing understanding that the BTC block chain is becoming increasingly transparent to the powers that be?

Second, now juxtapose the above with this quote:

"The report was more upbeat about the future of blockchain-related technology, which can be “deployed in areas such as real-time transactional settlement.”

Hmm... the article points to developments in things like Ripple, which will certainly appeal to the above crowd--right?  Gee I wish DRK's developers could do something that could help "in areas such as real-time transactional settlement.” Roll Eyes

Oh wait... Shocked Cool Grin

It will take some time to reach parity with Bitcoin ;-) what you are seeing now is nothing compared with what you will be seeing when the masses figure out what instantX has brought. It is the revolution of crypto currency making it better than any payment method existing, including credit and debit cards

How is it revolutionary? Ripple and BitShares have fast confirmation times for a long time. What else does InstantX provide?

How fast?

Recommended Confirmation Time: 1 block (10 secs) for BitShares, 1 block (10 secs) for Ripple.

http://wiki.bitshares.org/index.php/BitShares/Why_BitShares

Bitshares : Propagating blocks every 10 seconds won't allow the network to grow very large without tons of orphans. Darkcoin solves this by locking transactions into the next block while the block is being solved, this gives you the best of both worlds, really fast confirmation with a really stable network.

Ripple: The beauty of InstantX is it's 100% decentralized. Ripple is not.

Where else can you get 3-5 second confirmation in a completely decentralized way? All of the other solutions are flawed

A couple hundred Masternodes have dropped from the count? People updating or are thousands of DRK gone off to sell?

I'm on vacation so I can't fire up my local wallets to do a masternode start.  Well, if I really wanted to waste quality holiday time I could but in the mean time I've asked flare to make the judgement call on whether to leave my masternodes running old version or just to stop them.  I think he has stopped them.

Is this a joke?

"AML is only one of important features of Aten Coin. Aten Coin also comes with a strategy to maintain its liquidity and stabilize its value through investing in Oil & Gas production projects."

Smart stopping them as we're looking for consensus on protocols here.

- Please give me a good link about InstantX-technology/concept.

- Is there a project or development roadmap?

- Any one gave serious thought, about the idea of dropping the "minimal required capital" for running an MN?
E.g.: Maybe in later years, in a scenario like: there are 15.000 fullnodes online and 2.000 MNs (with 1000 DRK min) to create network with 17.000 MNs (without min holdage).

That's what I figured.  Will lose the payments between now and then but the network is king.

Indeed, Evan, your Darkcoin creation is the most elegant of solutions over many angles. And Quarkcoin for example was 30 seconds and prided itself on being quick at the beginning and indeed was, but the blockchain size got large and the update to the wallet is now tedious and broadcasting is unreliable(orphans also?), latest figures suggest 38 seconds, so this would suggest 10 seconds would not stand up to heavy use and would go a similar way.

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

I just don't find any of those other "features" to be major selling points. Including total anonymity.

Check it out, the amount of denial is mind boggling:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confirmation_bias
A series of experiments in the 1960s suggested that people are biased toward confirming their existing beliefs. Later work re-interpreted these results as a tendency to test ideas in a one-sided way, focusing on one possibility and ignoring alternatives. In certain situations, this tendency can bias people's conclusions. Explanations for the observed biases include wishful thinking and the limited human capacity to process information. Another explanation is that people show confirmation bias because they are weighing up the costs of being wrong, rather than investigating in a neutral, scientific way.
Confirmation biases contribute to overconfidence in personal beliefs and can maintain or strengthen beliefs in the face of contrary evidence.
