Your dump failed??? Well you don't know how the altcoin market works don't you? If you want to trade, trade. The same can be said about people that were solely focused on short-term swings in BTC while missing some of the largest moves from just holding. The order book remains thin to the upside. Believe it or not, if these people are trying to buy back their coins, there are going to be issues with the price moving upward in order to buy back all they sold. If you want to focus on the short-term, that's up to you. There are enough long-term prospectives here for me (and I'm sure countless others) to remain content holding their investments.

Answers please.
Read edit above. Easy test. Sent 1DRK InstantX to an EMPTY walley (ie no other inputs) and immediatly after sent back to original wallet once it IntantX confirmed. Satisfied? Not really… 1) Minotaur26 said 2 mins 2) Do MN's generate diff tokens? YES/NO i.e. if i respend instantx tx's b4 miner confirmations how can double-spending be prevented unless the tokens are diff? educate me You can use them just like any other coins. You can't IX anything that has less then 6 block-level confirmations. https://github.com/darkcoin/darkcoin/blob/master/src/instantx.cpp#L226So MN's are sending I/O valies as yet unconfirmed by mining network? How long does 6 blocks take? Is that a full confirmation? Yep, 6 blocks x ~2.5 minutes per block = ~15 minutes till you can send the same funds using IX. But you can send them as usual or start mixing right after first block. HOLY CRAP! THANK YOU 4 an answer that makes sense! That was already mentioned by numerous people in this thread. Not sure if you just did a half-ass look at it or what... Minotaur26 said 2 mins some other guy said "immediately" now im getting 15 mins (which makes sense to me) pls educate me further bump @BrainShitdown oblox disagrees whats the answer pls?

Been there, done that, LOL. Seriously, though, I love seeing the trade volume going way up, that's wonderful! Up or down, the volume is making us more interesting to the big exchanges, so it's great!

This guy is simply trying to piss you off He was actually hoping the answer was you couldn't spend right after an InstantX, and it turns out you actually can spend right away so he is out of any arguments and probably surprised. It didn't even matter really: I think you are right the point is InstantX is designed for the customer the other part is irrelevant. You walk into a store, you grab something, you pay and in 4 seconds you leave. You are in a subway station you buy something and as you are buying something on a vending machine your train arrives, you pay and you leave, the vending machine is not going anywhere it is you the customer who now has the freedom to leave quickly with your goods. You deposit coins into an exchange InstantX locks that deposit after 4 seconds, the exchange can make the balance available in your account immediately after a few seconds, as they have certainty of ownership. They are not offering this yet as it is a new technology and they will let it mature for a while, but no doubt someone will offer an Instant deposit in the future and maybe charge a premium. I hope this explains it better.

I wonder if the super buy wall will be moved up again...
I hope not yet. Let it mature - even if for days it stays stable, the dump potential decreases significantly. I personally hope it gets back to ~15-16, and stabilizes there at least for a few days. Well said... and it's good for ours nerves as well. The walls will stay at 0.012 even though the retrace target is at 0.01 - this is because I'd like to pick up some 0.012 coins, but we'll see if that's going to happen or not, I have some BTC on the side lines too if I feel like a market buy any where down there.

To be honest I think you could just lower that wall on finex to 0.011, it looks like a healthy correction

The one you don't like The question is how long must I wait before being able to spend the funds received through an InstantX tx? Clearly there is no consensus on the answer. Evan or Dev Team member pls? C'mon - this is EASY…

The one you don't like The question is how long must I wait before being able to spend the funds received through an InstantX tx? Clearly there is no consensus on the answer. Evan or Dev Team member pls? C'mon - this is EASY… OK I will try this one last time for the benefit of Everyone As I understood from Vertoe's interview and UdjinM6 answer You can spend funds you received from an InstantX transaction using normal send after 1 block confirmation. How much time this is depends on how long after you receive an InstantX a block is confirmed, so it should be no more than 2.5 minutes after you received the InstantX but could be less. That is what the theory says, users have reported being able to normal send right after an InstantX transaction, so feel free to try. In any case it will never be more that 1 block confirmation time. Not that this matter anyway this is a pointless discussion, as again InstantX is designed for the benefit of the customer: InstantX is designed for the customer the other part is irrelevant. EDIT: This is only my understanding as a user I am not a developer. Also I wont comment on this again.

If MN's don't generate their own tokens how can tx's be properly secured after only 1 confirm? Addendum: with/without a malicious MN secario cheers
