Not sure why does everyone wants btc-e so badly. It's a dead exchange with LTC lovers. Finex is bigger than Stamp, btc-e, Kraken all together. It's HUGE and we have not much volume there.

If I am not wrong - BTC-E is most popular Bitcoin exchange in Russia and have perfect payment gateways for Russian Rubles.

So it is perfect target...

You're not wrong. They are bilingual and clearly cater to Russian markets...

This one is perfect for you alex-ru, you should see if you can get local contacts in Russia.

Sensible people.

When I looked at my tipping address on the explorer recently and saw how many DRK have been through it I nearly cried Cheesy

while i'd love to see drk on BTC-e (it's my fav exchange, been using for years now) I'd rather see volume moved over to Bitfinex. With the volume that BTC does I think it lends a great segway into drk. I'm also afraid that because we aren't doing volume there it may get removed and we'll lose this chance.

I agree that pursuing BTC-e is fruitless. If they wanted to make commissions on volume, they would have added both Doge and Darkcoin by now. If in the future they decide to, so be it. The main focus should be bringing up the activity on Bitfinex--it's a very small club of coins on there (BTC, LTC, and DRK). Foolish not to support them, now more than ever. They also have the best shot of getting margin (leverage) if activity rises.

The bottom line, Darkcoin is barely a year old and is already #5 in marketcap (https://coinmarketcap.com/#USD) with these funny BitShares and withering down Litecoin in front of it.

The market forces will do their magic and if BTC-e would not add Darkcoin, someone else that might not even exist today, would and they will end up losing. It's fun speculating about all that, but all that matters is the best development team and the great community supporting their work...

I loved and traded margin on Bitfinex until they messed up margin balance and cost me money. They also never replied to my question(s) and / or to my math formulas proving them wrong; perhaps it was just a glitch, but I never went back to trading on their plaftorm.

The point you make made me re-think my stance; every bit of action that might help Darkcoin, and I am in...

Sigh.  Why can't Child_Harold just promote the wonders of his own coin rather than try to detract from others?

OK, owners of BTC-e are from Russia - so I will try to contact them. If anybody have strong arguments "why they need to add DRK" - please PM me ideas so I could make strongest request.

My masternodes have not been paid since the 24th.

20% of my nodes have received the last payment on 25th. 80% of the nodes have received after that. So from that sample I'd guess you have a some kind of a problem - maybe your node has went offline for a while when it was due or some other glitch?
Flare runs them and they have not been down from what i can tell. I check them everyday throughout the day and they have always been 100% active.

Yeah I have a masternode with the exact same same issue.

I also have the problem with master node payment.

Mine has been paid at 2015-02-28

Do we need to do anything? Or wait for the update?

It was fixed Saturday. Just wait for your next payment. All good!

Thank you. My master node get payment again.

Wow.  People in this thread have really been giving it to Tao of late  Cheesy

+1 I have to say I have sympathy for Tao - one of the hardest working community members with bag loads of passion and yet he gets quite a few knocks for promoting the "wrong stuff".

Nice one and good choice Grin I think betting with cryptocurrencies is great and I only hold and mine Darkcoin, (am using directbet.eu for football games btw) Do you have live Poker games?

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

How do you feel about lotteries? TAABL also supports DRK now and the eventual profits are used for the continued development of DividendRippler which incidentally also supports DRK now Smiley

I think it comes down to competing visions of how darkcoin should be promoted. Tao is obviously a sincere and hardworking person and its uncomfortable to have to disagree with his vision, because he is obviously a nice person. Nonetheless, I personally have a very different vision of how we should represent darkcoin. I prefer very clean cut , somewhat serious messages aimed at adults. I get uncomfortable when high-profile people are being contacted in a willy-nilly carefree doge-like kinda way. I don't wish anything bad on him, don't exactly want him to go away, I just get uncomfortable sometimes with him representing drk and thus myself.

Hi, I went to try your site and bet some Darkcoins but couldn't find how to do it. It only says play for Bitcoins at the top.  Maybe you are still working on the interface part?

Would love to go a play for a bit if you give us some guidance.

Edit: Figured it out, sorry, thanks Rux.

@Nelisky

Hey bro, since you came into the community I was interested in your site. To be honest, my problem has been that I have never used either Ripple or Stellar and I don't know what is their purpose and how they work.  I think if you wrote a little guide as to what we can do with DRK using your site and how these platforms could benefit us a lot more people would go try it. I know I would, I just honestly don't really know how it works.
