I like designs that are as simple as they can get without any excess baggage.

So it's  a [1] for me - preferably without those arrows which are a waste of space and just create ambiguity IMO. When the logo's small (like in coinmarket.com) they'll just make it look blurred and won't add anything.

Apart form the arrows I really like [1].

Hummm...I like #1 too....and i like the arrows....shows motion, gives it a dynamic feel.  IMO.  Wink

I will be able to live with the arrows if everyone feels passionate enough about them.

P.S. Walls going up.

where do you see the walls going up?

On cryptsy buy order are pilling up

Its an one-way-side

I still thing on 25 march Dash will be catapult to a new whole level  Smiley

Thats a tough one....buy on hipe...sell on news... lol.  I think there will be some volatility for the next week....but then it will gradually work its way up.

If that happens I'll go down in Dash history as the person who lost $2.8M on a few rolls of a dice  Cry

On that note, I'm going away for a few days solitude.  Have a great weekend all.

The price at this point is secondary to the volume and the fact that we're breaking AGAINST the general BTC and market trends right now. This is the second dip in a row we've held steady or gained against BTC. That's the type of momentum that pulls in other alts tired of following the flow.

If you want to learn more about the Dash project, former DRK, don't forget to listen to the most recent LetsTalkBitcoin episode. It is a full interview with Dash's lead developer Evan Duffield and includes very good explanations about the main features of the platform and future plans.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Also, aaxx1503 makes a pretty damn good case in his post.

Totally flipped my view around. Like most things, we need to let it sink in a little to make better sense of it.

Thank you Ghostplayer! The current choices of logos really have too much detail, the lines are too fine, they are all over the place.

The first logo proposed and some derivatives of it are still definitely the best amongst all of them (see this post https://darkcointalk.org/threads/dash-logo-contest.4394/page-3#post-47745)

Here's a quick comparison of a few alternatives and what I think of their features.

^ this, need to keep the reversibility of the first letter D into a C Smiley

(so from new designs #1)
This! You want something classic and solid that evokes a sense of familiarity and substance. Busy arrows and newfangled fonts are great for tech startups, (which in a sense we are) but we are going up against banksters now, not the Bitcoin nouveau riche. We are vying for the hearts and minds of Mom and Pop, and downtown businesses.
